“Absolutely delicious. Like really truly delicious. It is expensive but 100% worth it. The menu for food and drinks is excellent. The staff are very knowledgeable when it comes to what wine to consume with what food 😅 the interior is very fancy. In terms of the toilets, they're great. Doors that lock, obviously cleaned regularly, plenty of toilet roll. I highly recommend Miller and Carter, no matter where you are.”

“The food here is classic and clean. The goat cheese salad is delicious but I wish there was a bit more beetroot on there I also did not like that the goat cheese was fried. The bresaola was good. The tuna salad and linguini were somewhat delicious. For Oxford, this restaurant is good, but food-wise, I think there is still a lot of room for improvement. The service is wonderful and Juliette is very professional and has a very nice spirit and attitude. The space is nice and comfortable.”

“We went for a lunch sample menu on a Saturday. The food was perfectly balanced and not one course disappointed. The portions initially may look small, but with the number of courses and the flavours that come through, it is satisfying and scrumptious, and we did not leave hungry, like some people have mentioned. I feel people making those comments don't actually appreciate beautifully crafted and balanced meals. I also chose the additional cheese board, which I expected to be quite small, but it wasn't. There was a very good amount of cheese for the extra cost. I would definitely opt for it again. We opted for the wine pairing to go with the courses, and they were perfectly matched to either complement or cut through the flavours. The staff member explaining the wine was very professional and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was great, in the gorgeous wonky listed building. It has been decorated and celebrated well. Love the exposed brick and the large fireplace. The staff were knowledgeable, kind, and very attentive. We will definitely be going back for an evening meal.”

“Fantastic evening and tasting menu at Home tonight. The staff coordination is spotless and knowledge of the dishes & wines well rehearsed. They are still open to feedback & suggestions and reflective on previous iterations of the dish and previous pairings. They go the extra mile to research your interests and personality prior to your arrival to make the evening unique to you without feeling intrusive. The open kitchen is a treat to the eye and a testament to the precision of the dishes. You cannot hear a word or shout, yet everything that comes out is spotless. The tasting menu was close to perfect. The variety of dishes and risk-taking created a dynamic experience but the portion size was spot on. After close to 3 hours in the establishment and 10 courses, not once I felt the pace was wrong or was I full. Small portions yet packed with flavour and hard work = big delights. If you were hesitant, don’t. Book a table and go for the wine pairing that fits your budget. There are 3 different ones but the thought going into the pairing is the same regardless of price point. [Not sponsored - I just had a great time and the whole staff deserves the recognition. “We stumbled across Harry’s while on holiday down the road. Decided to go for our daughter’s birthday. There was 9 of us and we were seated immediately and service was brilliant. Food was amazing - burgers were spot on and portions large! Kids meals were a great price and again plenty of food. Friend’s husband had the full ribs which came on a large tray! Amazing! We had taken balloons for the table and we didn’t mention anything but at the end of the meal they brought a birthday dessert out for my daughter and sang happy birthday. Really lovely service. We would certainly return and recommend to others. Feels like a hidden gem! Brilliant!”

We first ordered it with a side of mushroom sauce but then decided not to use the sauce because it overshadowed the incredible meat taste!! The steak didn’t even need extra salt or seasoning!
