“We walked out of another restaurant in Sarlat & decided we wanted a special meal, so this was our choice. We had eaten here 7 years ago & we were hoping it was just as good. We were not disappointed. We sat out on the terrace & had a lovely meal with 3 courses set at 55 euros. The standouts were the duck & the chicken. The cocktail with champagne shot was delicious & the chablis was very smooth. The gourmand dessert with champagne gave you a small taste of 4 desserts. My only criticism is that they could offer a purely vegetarian option on the mains menu. Taking the pork out of the fish dish is not making it vegetarian. We left feeling it had been one of the better meals on our trip.”

“Really lovely friendly staff - everyone greeted and said hello from the pizza chefs, barmen and waiters. Pizzas were tasty and super quality ingredients. Thin crispy base and light fluffy crust. Only negative was the chili oil, it wasn’t spicy and the oil tasted odd, like canola oil - not something we’d expect from this calibre of restaurant. Service was very quick and attentive. Didn’t have to wait to order wine or for it to arrive - top marks there. Pretty interior with a labyrinth of bright stone passages. Overall, super friendly service, tasty food in a nice setting”
