“My husband and I went to The Smoking Goat on a quick anniversary trip to San Diego. Upon arrival, the entire staff was immediately hospitable and prompt. The interior decor was warm and rustic, and a nice contrast to the brisk December air. We both decided to skip the appetizers in order to save room for dessert, which I’m so happy we did! I ordered the duck, and my husband ordered the steak frites. The food arrived quickly, as it was a Sunday evening. My duck was probably the best I’ve ever had, and the sauce was acidic enough to cut through the richness of the bird. It was very well executed, and served at the perfect temperature. My husband’s steak was decadently tender, and they definitely don’t skimp on the crispy fries. At the end of our meal, we shared the goat cheese cheesecake. It was rich and tangy, but fluffy in a way not typical to traditional cheesecake. A very intriguing approach to the dessert. All in all, the attention to detail, and quality of both service and gastronomy was top tier. Thank you for making our celebratory dinner both special and memorable!”

“Great place that has been here for YEARS, historic actually. Dog friendly, not just service dogs , allowed outside on the patio. Patio shaded, dogs get treats, and seating is very comfortable. We ate fish tacos, and they were fantastic. Cole slaw was excellent, salad was perfect. Plenty of drinks and dishes to choose from. Inside the Cafe is incredibly fun and interesting to see, booths are comfortable, seating is very great. Nice staff. Clean. Bathrooms are clean and easy access. “The parking lot is very small. The Chinese Food is the best that I have ate in 40 years. There are a lot of people that place orders in person to pick up and come to place orders in person. “Gale's was delicious. The bread they brought out was so warm and tasty! The caprese salad was also great! I wish I ordered some to go. My family had pizza, which they said it was so good that they would go back. They are picky about pizza. My pasta was the only thing that was just ok. It needed a little more seasoning. Other than that, I recommend trying it out if you're in the Pasadena area. We were visiting from out of town. I would like to give our server Raul, 5 stars across the board!! He was the best!”

Very knowledgeable of the menu. Gave us a great suggestion for dessert and gave us good tips for having a best first time experience in Anaheim. I have to say that Todd made our evening amazing with the way he served us. The entire staff worked as a team all were pleasant and friendly.Pricing was good and there were a lot of options on the menu in multiple price ranges. While my steak was tender, delicious and cooked to perfection, it would have been beautiful had it been garnished, anything to liven up the plate. We were a party of 2 and we spent $90/ person and I was worth it. Thank you for your great hospitality!”

“A great little Burger Shack in Mi-Wuk. Not a lot of seating indoors but they have an outdoor section that's pretty big for when the weather is nice. The burgers were very good and so was the Philly cheese steak. The kids ate all their food which was a miracle in itself.
