“One of the best places we ate at while on vacation! The staff was friendly and the place was clean. I had bacon, eggs, hash browns, and pancakes. My hubby had bacon, eggs, toast and a Belgian waffle. We shared an order of biscuits and gravy! Everything was so delicious and our server was super nice!! Would definitely eat here again!!”

“Driving back from the Copper Harbor area and to the airport there weren't many restaurants open, but we were happy to find Sherrie's Restaurant. Sherrie, our waitress, was super nice. Cheese curds, jalapeno popper burger, philly cheese steak, banana pie, and chocolate peanut balls. It seems like a locals favorite and it was what we needed for the long road trip ahead.”

“This restaurant got pretty busy around 5:30-6. It was a great atmosphere where everyone knew everyone and the food portions were HUGE! Definitely will be back! Update: My boyfriend and I came for lunch last week and someone put $20 towards our bill, thank you to whoever did that!! The food was awesome and the portions are still huge, but I'm happy I got to bring some food home for later!”

The beer selection was quite varied, though I was surprised there were not more Founder's selections (I'm a big fan of Founders and do not live in MI). It was a great place and I was surprised at how reasonable the price was for our party of 5 guys (UMich game)! Will definitely come back when in the area.”

“Good food, had a younger gentleman with quite nice curly hair greet me and get my drink for me, polite as possible. Server was also a very nice woman. Young man brought out my food as well and made sure I was set, food was quite good, cooks were a bit rowdy but it was entertaining to watch honestly!”

“First time here and there were 8 of us for Friday dinner. Made a reservation and we were seated immediately for our 5:30 time. Loved the atmosphere...very upbeat and an industrial feel to the place. The food was delicious for all of us. The walleye my brother-in-law ordered was a very large piece and worth the $22.95. The kids ate all their Mac & Cheese. I shared with my husband the Classic 1/4 burger w/o onions (with cheddar added) and the PB & C Burger. Was skeptical about the PB & C Burger, but it was amazing!!! Best burger I have ever had. For dessert we tried the Cookie Ice Cream Sandwich and it did not disappoint, very tasty 😄 The Red Velvet Cheesecake my nephew ordered wasn't the best after we all tried a bite, unfortunately, for our tastes we wanted it sweeter, haha, and the red velvet cake moister.”

“This place has definitely improved over the years. I remember back on the day, people used to call this place "The River Dump". Since the new owners have taken over, I've continued to be impressed with this place. Their menu is quite deep. Despite that, I ordered the chicken teriyaki, which was a special. It came with 2 sides. So I got fries and a salad. It was all very good. The chicken was juicy and tender. The teriyaki sauce that it was smothered in was very tangy and flavorful. The meal also came with a small rice pudding. What's also very cool about this place is that it has a very locals feel to it. Everybody knows each as Rockwood is a reletively small city. But being off of the interstate, there are a lot of truckers and travelers that stop in for a quick bite. With that being said, it would be nice if they opened earlier than 9am. I feel as if they would generate much more business during the early morning hours. This place also has kayaks for rent. Being right on the Huron River, it may not be a bad option. Overall, this is a nice little diner that offers kayaking”
