“Didn't see all the hype about this place we were a party of 8 and 5 of us thought is was poor 2 said it was OK 1 said they enjoyed it..we all had lunch the one who enjoyed had breakfast. Mediterranean omelet was awful,clam chowder was tasteless bowl of potatoes. Table behind us came in after us and we still weren't offered drinks and they were served food! No offers of drink refills forgot drinks etc...not a good experience for.100.00 plus tip”

“Had an amazing experience here. We walked in on a Sunday afternoon at around 12 noon, and it was all packed, but the staff greeted us warmly and seated us at a tiny table. Soon after some patrons left, they offered to move us to a bigger table by the window, and I really loved this. Coming to the food, it was hearty and comforting. I had the egg breakfast with sausages and baked beans on toast. My bf had the chorizo sausage and eggs with hash brown. Both of us loved our food. Loved my morning cuppa Joe as usual. My bf loved his orange cream beverage as well and said it was refreshing. The entire place was really well maintained and the staff checked in on us from time to time! Would definitely visit again!”

“It was good. They do offer cute shaped pancakes which is why I wanted to try this place, my 7 year old loved the shape and decorations. The flavor was alright, nothing bad, nothing exceptional. I did love the home fries, they were cooked and seasoned well. Service was a bit odd but no one was rude. I didn't like the lack of kids menu or side options. My daughter actually didn't even get a menu even though she can read so we shared. We dined outside and the chairs were uncomfortable and the table was a bit unstable. I instantly regretted that but maybe next time I will sit indoors. Parking is almost non-existent but there's street parking so its not a big deal. It was a bit more money than I'd normally pay for diner food but I'd definitely go back when I'm in the mood for The Big Breakfast. Their fruit was fresh and tasty so I'll definitely have to try their other breakfast options too.”

“This is my first dinner in Boston and I already like this city! This restaurant is like half basement of the building. Small but have an atmosphere. Staff are friendly and foods are amazing. Love the bread, love the mussels and also pasta. Unfortunately I didn’t have space for desserts but looking at next table, those look amazing. Definitely try next time.”

“Best diner ever!! *Food is phenomena, packed and slow *Atmosphere is cozy and the Classic Rock memorabilia and music is super cool and interesting. *Service is incredible! I absolutely love that the Little Depot is run by a family! (mom, dad, son and daughter) Your family is amazing!! *Side note -I’ve never taken a photo of my food, posted or written a review on Google. Although I would love to keep this local gem to myself, its worth sharing a stool. You will need to wait to sit, particularly on weekends, but soooo worth it!!”

“Great happy hour spot. There are two levels with the second accessed by stairs. Most of the tables are high top with high chairs or booths. The staff is patient. There is a decent and reasonable for Cambridge priced cocktail list. The fried calamari and flatbread were very good and easy to share. The beef skewers came with a salad. The menu is available by QR code. It was fairly easy to make a reservation. I would come back here.”

“I ordered the Two Eggs, Bacon, and Toast for ~ $11 and would definitely recommend! I organized the food into two breakfast sandwiches and it was delicious. The perfect serving size for me, left only crumbs on the plate. Everyone in my party also enjoyed their meals. We don’t suggest the burgers or cranberry juice, but the fries, ham, and everything else was very good. I wish there was beautiful art on the walls and the channel the tv was on wasn’t my taste. But the service was fast and the person who served us was lovely. :)”

“Hubby and I went away to the cape for our 10 year anniversary and picked this restaurant as a special night out. We arrived a little early but they seated us right away in the front glass window which was so cool. It was the old glass so when you looked out it was wavy, loved it. We shared a special salad with apples and cave aged cheddar which was delicious! Hubby ordered the sous vous Fillet and I ordered the lobster and shrimp risotto. We both loved our meals. They brought us out house made mint ice cream and to celebrate our anniversary at no charge and hubby said it was incredible! We really enjoyed our dinner here!”
