“We recently concluded our visit to the establishment. Initially, the first round of drinks amounted to $13 for both. However, we observed an unexpected increase in price for the second round, despite ordering the same drinks. Despite this minor setback on New Year's Day, we opted to focus on enjoying the exceptional music. Additionally, there was an incident with one of the bartenders, a stout individual, who exhibited rudeness when I attempted to capture a photo of the bar, stating firmly not to consider taking any photographs. so be prepare for that if you’re planning to visit.”

“Very fun date night spot. You cook everything, even your burger. Big grill, everyone gathered around. Red light ambiance helps to disguise meat that maybe isn't cooked exactly how you like it. We had a blast. Hot dog was these best. Ribeye not too fatty, just right. Wish we tried the filet, watched others cook theirs and looked amazing.”

There was an outdoor area / smoking patio & they were selling freshly made pizza from a mini pizza oven..We had two! It was that good! Overall we had a very nice time and would def come back again!”

“Came in to eat w my son while we waited for my daughter who was listening to a band down the street. We ordered soup, wings and a burger and fries. Service was friendly and quick. Our food was prepared and came out hot and beautiful. The Clam Chowder was delicious and in a big bowl. The Hot Wings could be a bit crunchier and they should overhaul the hot sauce, but not bad at all. The burger looked great and was fantastic! The place looks like an old saloon, sports bar atmosphere and can get very loud. I would definitely go back though!”

“My husband and I stopped in for lunch and a few drinks after a 3 mile walk. Our bartender was incredible! The entire staff was very nice and seemed to actually be happy to be there. We decided to go with the fish and chips and it did not disappoint! It was a very generous portion to share and it tasted great. The bartender was very knowledgeable and had great recommendations on food and drinks. The atmosphere is very relaxed and nice. We will be back before heading home on Sunday! Cheers! 🍻”

I bought my brother and husband and we played some board games whilst drinking our beers. They even have hard cider for my husband who doesn't drink beer. “Great local watering hole with lots of old world class. Slightly nondescript and off the beaten path of downtown Berkeley, this pub is a gem with a ton of charm. Very laid back, yet oozes character. Enough space for groups, with lots of nooks and crannies to enjoy smaller, more intimate gatherings. Lots of cocktail options and quality local beers on tap, with a daily extended happy hour that includes free bottomless popcorn. Has some nice non-alcoholic options as well. Occasionally hosts music and events, and has a “darts range” in the back so many games can happen simultaneously and safely without hip checking a neighbor’s drink. There is a TV for watching sports. The first bar to open in Berkeley, Albatross has a ton of history and is now owned by two women.”

If that’s her how to treat a great customer , she should change her job, never be a waitress anymore. Sweet, you can’t be a waitress when you don’t know how to treat customers. If I could take back my tip, I won’t left any cent to her.”
