“Corner bar, overall average bar food and drink experience. I got the fried chicken sandwich with fries. Super insanely crispy outside, perfectly cooked on a well toasted bun, overall not a lot of actual flavor in the sandwich though. Chicken meat itself lacking seasoning, and not a very thick filet on the sandwich I got for $15, pickles and aioli not really bold enough to be noticed, but no off putting flavors or textures. Overall a decent sandwich. Fries are interesting, shoestring cut but not very seasoned and a variety of doneness, some pale, some well done and crunchy. Would probably go well with a dipping sauce like the garlic aioli.”

A night out at The Crypt listening to punk rock while eating vegan poutine and watching a 1980’s horror flick is a night well spent.”

“Very close to our hotel so tried it ( didn't stay long) - basic neighborhood hole in the wall. Regulars outside smoking recommended not to eat there... My Bf had already ordered wings, which I don't eat, he will eat almost anything and said they were AWFUL! Server was a verynice young man doing his best while also trying to kick a very under the influence of something??? lady out who was sneaking back in through the back door. Apparently it's a fun place late at night to play pool, but we didn't stick around. People watching is great and interesting characters. Strong pours.”
