“I started seeing Dr Joe early 2022. I just turned 50 and after losing weight in 2020, I had gained some of it back in 2021 and felt weak and tired. Before my office visit, Dr Joe gave me a detailed lab order to get my blood work done and we had a consultation a week later and reviewed my numbers. Got on a scale that measures body fat, muscle mass, etc and got my metabolic age....89. Dr Joe came up with a plan of action for me and set up a follow up visit in 3 months. Urgent Care can have a little bit of a longer wait time, but when you go in, you will leave with an actual answer; unlike some other places that you go, you will also be more informed about what they're charging you for rather than surprise billing. I completed my registration and checked in at 6:30pm. There was 1 other person in the waiting room and 1 empty room (the others may have been full). 40 min later the receptionist calls me up to tell me they are no longer taking walk-ins. I asked her why she didn’t tell me that when I WALKED IN 40 min prior. She stated she was busy with the people that walked in before me. No apology or consideration. Luckily a different urgent care down the road was able to see my sick child even though their waiting room was busier.”
