“Dr Adi removed cataracts from both eyes. Later, the right eye seemed a little problematic in that it always felt scratchy and like something was in it. Dr Flanagan(sp) put me on eye drops for a few more weeks and it seemed to correct the issue. I am very pleased with how my eyes are progressing especially cause I was really anxious about cataract surgery, even after my research on the subject. I knew if I had to have them removed, Dr Adi would always be my choice since she removed my Mother’s. Since I trust her, I trust Dr F who seemingly fixed the problem. He is so kind, and the consummate professional. I salute both of these doctors and will always refer others to them!! Sincerely Winifred J.”

“The clinical staff and Providers are EXCEPTIONAL. Dr. FORRESTER IS a top tier cardiologist! The practice managers however are terribly insensitive and unprofessional. Marla and Angela (practice managers???) are providing medical advice without getting adequate information on patients. They both- individually gaslight patients and confabulate patients/caregivers words in their documentation. Furthermore, the management are dismissive, confrontational and lack compassion (a necessity in healthcare). It is unfortunate- the management team at multiple locations are a poor reflection of the providers! No doubt healthcare has suffered!!! Primarily due to overwhelming patient volume, increase acuity and subpar professionals. insured patients and their caregivers are treated poorly. As a healthcare professional and a patient- it’s imperative that you know or attempt to understand your patients. More so when the person calling for assistance is a physician or nurse and does NOT NEED TO BE CHASTISED WITHOUT PROPER knowledge of the situation. In the hospital, the clinic or telehealth- I would never abruptly interrupt or demean someone who is anxious and asking for SAFE AND CLINICAL GUIDANCE or ReAssurance. It is evident management and non-clinical staff are overwhelmed - and as a result unpleasant to cardiac patients and their care team. Non-clinical staff are providing medical advice. Medical advice without understanding the patients history or complaint. They will not give you an opportunity to provide updates or info and will rely solely on the minimal documentation for each telephone or in in-person encounter. Not good/BEST practice to escalate and contribute more anxiety to cardiac patients and their support team. A suggestion to conclude the review- staff is in desperate NEED AND REQUIRE REMEDIATION AND TRAINING on customer service and de-escalation strategies. Marla and Angela ARE Not THE BEST gate keepers for quality Cardiologists/ Electrophysiologists. They have shown on multiple occasions that some people SHOULD NOT BE IN HEALTHCARE. Caution- they are quick to talk over you and project their frustrations on prospective and established patient population. .”

“For the first visit, I wasn't prepared to invest the time necessary to fill out paperwork. However, given the work I do in the field of addiction, equity and insurance parity, I was impressed with the documents offered explaining many important topics. The wait then was a bit long; however, when finally seen, I was impressed with the preparation of the PA. He had reviewed my background, previous tests, etc. and we had a very productive "next step" plan put in place. I'll continue with my care for now and see if this level of support continues.”

“I’ve been seeing Dr. Merritt for a while now. My first impression was very positive and even months later. I fully understand why her colleagues refer to her as one of the “best doctors” you could ever have. What I most love about her is that she listens to the concerns of her patients. She discusses options for the best approach in alleviating the pain and lays out a plan. There was an occasion when the pain began to elevate, and my appointment was 3+ weeks out. Her office called to see if I might be interested in an appointment the very next day. This was truly a Blessing to go in, have the procedure done and to be able to experience life as it should be “pain free.” Thank you, Dr. Merritt, and staff for the excellent medical service.”

“DO NOT COME HERE!!! This review is for the MEDICAL side: Do NOT go here for ANY urgent care. This is a long review. Short version: doctor has a lack of professionalism to handle things in a timely manner / she basically abandoned her patient who desperately needed a solution to not make things worse. I went yesterday 12/26 for a follow up for my cough I've had for 8 days, that was getting worse. One of the medications the doctor prescribed was Promethazine and Codeine to help me SLEEP because I haven't been able to sleep due to my cough. Upon arriving at the pharmacy, I was informed that they don't sell it anymore. They sent an alternate RX request but my history with doctors offices made me take matters into my own hands and they still fumbled the ball... I called at 3:24pm to inform them I needed an alternative RX, the front desk girl didn't seem to understand that and proceeded to ask me "so you don't want the medication anymore." I explained it to her 5 different ways and I don't think she actually understood that. Must be new. Should not put her on the phones yet, as she had zero clue how to handle the situation. Because I have medicine that reacts to a lot of medications, I asked if I could speak to the doctor, to which I was told, the doctor doesn't talk on the phone for RX requests, they can just leave a note. The front desk asked me to call other pharmacies to see if anyone else had it. I called around town and apparently no one is selling it. I called back at 3:47 to inform the front desk that no one has it and that I need an alternative. I had to explain to her all over again.. she was again, still lost / not understanding it. Doctor finally called me back at 4:37pm. I missed the call because I had finally been able to sleep for about 2 hours. She had left a voicemail stating she would be there until 5pm and that if she didn't hear back, she will call me back right after 10am. I called back 4:41pm. Exactly 4 mins later. The front desk informed me she has already left the building. Apparently no one has the doctor's person contact- not even the office manager. To call her and ask her why she left before 5 if she told me she was going to be there until 5pm to fix my medication. The manager let out the most I-hate-my-job sigh and said "why did she put me in this predicament." All she could offer me was to "beg for my forgiveness." Which does absolutely nothing for me. I had to call out of work sick today because I again, couldn't sleep. I've lost a day of income because of this. And will probably lose another day of income because I have zero confidence this will be resolved. Because the doctor effectively abandoned me, I scheduled an urgent care visit with another provider. They were able to get me an alternative medication. I called back today at 10:43am to remind them to fix this ASAP. I mentioned the alternative medication prescribed to me did NOT work. The front desk staff today *seemed* more competent, as she immediately understood the situation and what she needed to do. She said she would follow up and give me a call back. I had heard nothing by 3pm. I called back at 3:12pm to ask for an update. The front said there were two communication requests sent and that she will get back to me by the end of the day. It's 3:50pm and I have yet to hear back, I'm not confident in this doctor to handle this situation. Will probably visit another urgent care to get this resolved. I've never experienced such extreme unprofessional in any medical office. All this stress has simply made my condition worse. They were supposed to call me back by EOD. They didn't. I called back at 4:48pm, was put on hold, the phone immediately hung up right at 5 and I could only leave a voicemail when I called back. So incredibly UNPROFESSIONAL!!!”

“Yes, I would want to say that there have been several instances where I have needed them in an emergency, and they have always gone above and beyond what I have needed and made sure that I have the proper medication's and prescriptions to make me better. The accessibility to the online Appointment is so wonderful. I called at 8:30 PM last night because I was out of my asthma inhaler. I was there by 8:45 and they took me in for the appointment. Being able to sleep at night knowing I had an inhaler is so wonderful thank you for your wonderful service as always.”
