Our sliding door (120" X 84") was developing cracks growing from side to side because of kids activities. For safety we decided to replace it and reached out to A-1 On Track. Gus was very responsive and knowledgeable, coming in 15 minutes after the call and doing preliminary door inspection. He then presented door options available to us so we could make an informed decision. He also had his team come over to fix the cracks, preventing them from getting worse before the new door arrival. It took exactly three weeks from order to delivery. This project was going on smoothly. “We love our Beverly double entry doors with the rain glass! Arrived packaged so well, not a scratch on them. The contractors were a bit intimidated at first by the weight but the frame was simple to install and they couldn't believe how easy installation was after unpacking. They were done in 30 minutes. Doors fit perfectly with just a tiny bit of adjusting. The contractors couldn't stop raving about the quality, beauty, ease of install and the price was way less than they guessed. They've been doing high-end remodels/builds for 30+ years and said this was one of the nicest doors they had ever seen. 1000% recommend. (Pics are without locks/handles and unfinished drywall/stucco around the edges.)”

From the initial consultation with Ty (which just felt like a conversation, no high pressure sales tactics), to measurements with Scott, emailing with Ericka over lead-times, billing with Sandy, and finally Doug and the team doing the final installation; the entire process was a pleasure and felt easygoing, like dealing with a family. Zen Windows philosophy of “having that conversation & make sure it’s the right fit for you and your home” made my wife and I feel VALUED as people and not just an easy commission. They understand that large purchases such as windows shouldn’t be made in a day or under pressure to commit by “x day” as so many competitors in the business operate. Even if we didn’t like the windows, I told Ty that his sales approach was one of the most respectable that I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. My wife and I DID take the time to research and compare other window manufacturers and the Provia line that they installed in our home is EXTREMELY well regarded by both homeowners and installers around the country! Check any forum online and there’s almost unanimous praise for Provia’s manufacturing process for quality and efficiency of their windows and doors. The lead times were not bad at all, maybe 3-4 weeks from the day they placed the order for 21 windows to be installed. The team worked fast, cleaned up any debris from the old windows, and did an excellent job caulking the seams. Our home is cooler, quieter, and the windows look exceptional! We found them through our local Home Depot’s recommendation after getting a quote from another iron door company via a zoom call done by a high pressure salesman, so we were not convinced especially when that company gave us a quote that was out of sight and not in our budget! EntryPoint sent a knowledgable and personable Design Consultant (Holly Parrish) from their Atlanta office to our home near Birmingham, AL to present what they could do for us in person and sold us almost immediately after we went over everything; the process, the options in styles, finishes, materials, fixtures, the guaranteed quality, and the timing of manufacture and installation. Someone came out after we agreed to purchase from EntryPoint to take exact measurements for the design and install. We were then assigned an Iron Door Project Manager (Becky Randall) who did a CAD drawing with our choices so we could visualize our custom look just for the style of our English Tudor home. Both Holly and Becky were always available, responsive and patient with any questions or concerns that we had as we worked together to accomplish our goal. We could not be more pleased with our new iron door thus far. It was purchased to replace a wooden mahogany door that we always loved, but the constant maintenance due to weathering on it was laborious and expensive. Having a solid and more weatherproof door giving us more privacy that is absolutely gorgeous and enhances the look the front of our home is invaluable and most appreciated! The 4-month wait to get the door perfect to our specs was worth it and the installation crew was professional and efficient in removing old door and casing and replacing with our new masterpiece!! “For a company that claims to be the best they have made several mistakes. First window they took out they broke in my house and left glass all over the upstairs and outside as well. The side door did not lock and the handle on the one window was already bent. I was told that feldco was an easy process with the best quality and so far this has been very untrue. They are "really sorry" though. All they offered to do was come out in a month to repair which they were going to do anyway via warranty. Now I have to take another day off and maybe they can do the job right the second time. Very disappointing 😞”

“Two great doors at a reasonable price. Everyone is very helpful, responsive, v and professional. One quibble though. They hung the door backwards in the frame for the back door. They corrected it without issue but it took a good week. When you mess up, you've got to resolve it right away. When an issue with strike plates arose, Jake and the team were very responsive and Jake even came out to look it over. Since I had my contractor install the doors as part of a larger project, they attempted to use the strike plates that were in place for the old doors since I was reusing the locksets. They should have said something before increasing the miters to kind of fit the original hardware since strike plates are plentiful and cheap.”

“Ordered black cap window, waited 3 weeks and it came in white. Unbelievable. Special order windows come in unpackaged, with vinyl being all scratched up. Dennis (manager) said I can clean them up with soft scrub. I wouldn't recommend this place if you want windows that look new. Just picked up the window they built to replace the one they screwed up. Here is a pick of the poor quality. They painted the corners with touch up paint but missed the area needed and got more on everything that didnt.. including on the glass. Looks homemade. Almost $500. Rip off.”

Most recently though I didn't get the best install at my home for a simple garage entry door. Which is the purpose of my review. The first install doesn't so much matter for the purpose of my review...it's how they handled it. To their great credit they stepped in and literally did whatever it took to make it right. It was honestly a breath of fresh air to see that a business out there still cares and puts the customer FIRST. Trinity from the office was absolutely amazing at assuring me that it would be perfect no matter what had to be done, and she's just an amazing person. As humans we don't always get things right the first time, I know this from being in business myself. We are human and things go wrong. However, it should always be about how you finish and how you handle. In my opinion they couldn't have treated me or the situation any better and I am very thankful. I am still a customer for life.”
