“David and Wendy at Totally Wicked we’re a total joy. First let’s talk about what I came in needing. I quit smoking 1 year ago. Since then I have put on more than 15 kilos as I have replaced smoking with food. So I decided I needed to get on to these with some nicotine to not run the risk of needing to start to smoke cigarettes again. I was waiting for a train and decided to look if there was an e-cig shop near by. I came in and the shop was incredibly clean. Both team members were wearing face masks and behind plastic screens. They gave me enough to look around without pouncing, and then David kindly came close (keeping socially distant and with mask on) and asked what I was needing. I explained to David what I was after and he narrowed down the needs to two options. Wendy came over to give some input too, they work AWESOME together, and had the product I was eyeing up. It was just £16.99 in a lovely brushed silver metal AND even came with three bottles of flavours. Wendy was very clear that they respect details such as email and that it respects GDPR and will not be shared. David informed me that they deliver world wide and as I work for a local business they do discounts on subsequent purchases. After purchasing (paid with my phone as they accept Apple Pay and contactless) they took me to a table and chair abs helped me set it up. Their customer service was out of this world and I’m very happy that they were able to guide me away from going back to cigarettes. I went with the Rhubarb & Custard, Blackcurrant and Fruit Fusion at 0.3% nicotine. It’s very rare that I make a decision and pay the first time I visit. They made the decision process really easy and simple. I will be coming back ok a frequent basis.”

If you are a lenstore customer or someone who will take up chair time and they receive no payment from, expect your appointment to be moved or cancelled without notice and without communication. Also, customers need to direct complaints elsewhere instead of the feedback form they keep telling you to fill in online. The online feedback form goes no where apart from the branch who created the problem in the first place. UK Optometry at the moment.... 1. Change customer prescription for no reason, get a glasses sale. 2. Sign up every contact lens trial to a direct debit scheme, get a bonus. 3. Don't give chair time to any customer who isn't going to create a sale. Prime example is this branch.”

“Great quality logs here, we have bought logs from a lot of places and these are really good quality compared to other shops the only downside is that a stove installation come comes on a Monday and fills the van with trolly after trolly of logs which means they run out really quickly so if you want to buy any you have to be quick. I'm assuming this is on the same day home bargains get there delivery”

“I went here for my first eye test. The eye test itself was fine, although I do feel that the results could have been explained better. They were obviously short staffed and had to juggle customers, I put this down to a bad day. After the eye test it was time to choose some glasses, this was hurried and the feeling that I got was that I was encouraged to spend as much as possibble in as little time. None of the options such as varifocals, polarised, short ighted, what the numbers on the prescription meant etc were explained to me, I had to Google all of this when I got home. I was offered a second pair for half price, feeling rushed I said that I would return later in the week to choose the second pair. On my second visit I clearly explained that I was here to buy a second pair of glasses for half price. The sales assistant said that it might not be exactly half price but would be about half price, I questioned how and why this was, she was reluctant to answer definitively and suggested I choose some glasses. I spent time (again with the staff juggling customers) choosing glasses foolishly thinking that they were about half price as told. I can't remember the exact figures but my choice of around £150 was £110 or there abouts. I told them that this isn't half price and only then did they explain that the discount could not be greater than on the first pair. Frankly, I feel that they wasted my time in the hope that I would simply cave in. Obviously with no intention of returning ther I bought my glasses online and can see in them just as well as the ones that they sold me for 10 x the price.”
