“Best location downtown for price and variety. Staff is always very friendly and helpful! And it’s not because we have the same name, but Maria always comes through with the best suggestions with good humor and you can tell she likes what she does, worthy of this praise. Maria is very knowledgeable, she listens to what you are looking for and makes recommendations based on your preferences and mood of the day, or if there’s ever new products that she knows are worth trying. Look for her for 10/10 service. Sadly they don’t rely on a security staff, which means employees are fending for their safety and other customers if things get agitated, as unfortunately downtown can attract unpleasant and sometimes dangerous individuals. Highly recommend this to be changed for better performance.”

“This outlet usually has a wide variety of excellent wines & spirits to select from. The SAQ App also makes it easy to know that a favorite product is in stock. Staff are always available and several are very knowledgeable about the products carried. Particularly if they have personally tried a wine you’re interested in trying for the first time. Disappointed when one (1) particular US wine continues to be out of stock when it is always plentiful at the LCBO in Toronto.”

“nice place and friendly staff. However I’ve noticed lately that some (1or2) male clerks will literally get within 5 cm of me to grab a product without providing a heads-up so that I get out of the way. I happen not to be a piece of furniture and therefore find this incredibly disrespectful. At some point, one of them just pushed my cart away from the narrow space in front a the cash registry to pass behind me (again with no more than 10cm behind me) as I was paying. There was clearly a larger path he could have used at the self-check out but instead decided to push my cart away and charge ahead as if I wasn’t there. If you’re going to be in someone’s personal space, just say ”excuse me” to make your presence known and out of respect. I don’t assume people want me in their personal space without warning and the same applies to them.”

Extremely rude and condescending when simply asked why she chose to do this to us but none of the other 15 patrons in the store! In this day and climate this is unacceptable behavior!”

One of the other wines I like for this is a Nice Bordeaux both are under 20$ a bottle a Really Fantastic Deal for Wine of this Caliber! The Spanish wine was #25 on Wine Spectators List of Top 100 2 years ago!”

“I went into the store and made a purchase of 3 different items. Upon going to my vehicle for literally 1 minute checked my product and saw that 90% was not in the package. I went back inside to show the representative at the counter, I was spoken to by 3 different guys who pretty much said I concealed the product when I went into my vehicle and how would they know if I didn’t open the package and remove the product and come back inside. I was told in front of clients I pretty much stole and came back inside and too bad so sad about my missing product. I couldn’t believe the treatment I was getting and left the store with no solution. Zero service , zero empathy. No customer service skills.”
