“Unfortunately Azarius is closed. There’s a new owner now who made a redesign of the place. Instead of warm tones - dark grey or black. Instead of all kinds of nice tools and things - bunch of cheap Chinese souvenirs. Azarius used to look wonderful on the inside. This current smartshop - “the house of smart” - looks like any other tourist shop just couple streets away in De Wallen.”

“While the Other Stories is just my favorite brand, I can agree with comments of other people, that find the service in this particular shop is pretty bad. I leave in Amsterdam only for a year, but have been in this shop quite a few times. First of all I don’t understand why they always ask people to put garments back on hangers in the dressing room. I believe this is a job of a shop worker. Second of all, when you are buy something just 2 minutes later than shop is closing they are soo pissed... but we are talking about 2 minutes, not 15! I was living in Barcelona before, and service there is much much better! As for the garments - they are my favorite, the combo of quality for price is just great 👌”
