“First off, I would give them more stars if I could! The amount of care that my dogs receive here is incomparable to any in the area. They care for my dogs here, and are amazing at helping me understand my dogs health. Both dogs in my home are not just our dogs, but service dogs in training. They loved on both Loki and Jolene, and were great for Jolene's spay this past Friday. I can't thank the staff here enough!! Such amazing and caring staff.”

“This was my fourth adoption of a four legged friend, first time at the ANNA shelter and also my first cat. Staff was friendly, attentive and answered all of my questions. I had already looked at their website and had all my paperwork in hand and ready to go. I came in to look at a female calico cat and ended up leaving with an orange and white male. Over the years of adopting I’ve come to realize that sometimes you get to pick, sometimes you don’t and sometimes they pick you-which is what I’d like to think Hubert ( formerly known as Cuppie) did. It’s been about 2 weeks and he’s settled in nicely and showing his calm but quirky personality. Thanks for a great experience!”

“This is the first time I have ever written a review for any business. My wife and I were in town for Thanksgiving and our beautiful 15 year old Luiggi , a Yorkiepoo took a turn for the worse. He had been sick over the last two years and the growth on on his trachea had reached a point where he could no longer get oxygen. Where do you do go when you are from out of town and we found Glenwood that was open early? We were up all night trying to calm our little man and dreaded making the decision and we didn't know any veterinarians. I walked in the door of Glenwood at 7:45 yesterday and Tristan greeted me and was so kind and considerate making me feel at home, like we had been patients there for a long time. Having a first patient like this, I'm sure is difficult. Tristan was very professional and in my opinion the kind of employee that don't come along very often. He took his time explaining the options that were hard to hear, but he was in no hurry. He came out to the car where my wife was with Luiggi. We went in a side door and in a couple of minutes the vet came in and explained what was about to happen. I wish I had gotten her name but she was so kind and caring. Her assistant helped to prep and you could just tell this is one of the jobs they don't like to perform. I don't want to go through anything else regarding our little man's passing but if the end of life procedure and care is anything like their daily practice, I can't imagine going anywhere else. Thank you Tristan and our vet for being so wonderful in a trying time.”

“It’s long, but if you care about who is responsible for your pets, please read! I took my cat for his annual appointment for shots, only to be sent to the emergency animal hospital and not come home with my cat. He was perfectly fine before taking him into LWAH. They took him to the back for shots, he screamed something terrible. Not once, but multiple times he screamed and cried. When they returned to the room, my cat was wheezing and gagging. He threw himself around in his carrier and then projectile vomited. He was then taken to the back to check the color of his gums and put him on oxygen. Vet came back and said he was doing okay off of it, but going to continue to keep an eye to make sure he is okay before sending home. (Keep in mind, his appointment was at 4:40 and at this point it’s like 5:30 and they close at 6) Minutes passed, I was getting anxious with no update so I went to the front desk and asked for her to go get an update. Vet came in and said she was going to call the emergency vet to see if they had room, they did. She said they have a room for him, but we don’t have oxygen to send you with so we can’t promise he’s going to make it. What do you mean not make it? We came for SHOTS!!! There was nothing wrong before this. It felt like they were just shoving us out of there because it was after 6 at this point and they wanted to leave. There was a possible heart murmur the vet started talking about while my cat was acting weird. But what gets me is they continued to stress him out instead of stopping like they should have. It was a good while after the screams that my cat returned to the room, so yes they continued on him even after the stress of the shots. They should NOT have continued. They should have stopped after seeing my loved one in so much pain. Whether they did something wrong but won’t admit or put him through max amount of stress that caused his heart to fail, I will never know. But what I do know is, anyone that knows me will not be supporting this business. And I sure hope no one EVER has to go through this heart break that I am, with 0 answers as to why my cat went in for shots and didn’t get to go home. I’m very disappointed and all I got was “I’m sorry” over and over. That will never cure the pain of hearing my cat scream and watching him struggle to get air while driving down 81 because they gave up on him. These pictures are right before we left and on the way. Happy as ever.”
