“We stayed here for just one night. It was excellent. Perfectly decorated for Christmas with a tastefully decorated large Christmas tree which is hugged by the gorgeous grand staircase. All the staff were helpful and delightful. Our room was upgraded which was a lovely surprising seeing as we were there for a birthday treat. We stayed in the main building. The room was huge with a spotless bathroom. We had a 3 course dinner. All the food was lovely and we had cocktails in the cozy bar after. The views from the restaurant when we had breakfast the next day were a bonus. We took a walk around the grounds before check out to take in the view. I just wished I could of stayed here longer. Well done for running a hotel that has so much history and character whilst still being cozy and clean”

“Amazing Hotel for the price. The fact it has microwave, cooker hobs, toaster, fridge and even a dishwasher and all the cups, plates, pans and utensils. I didn't realise it had all this when I booked. I just thought it had a kettle and microwave so was pleasantly surprised when we got to our room. The room was nice and clean and a funky modern decor. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel has everything you need, there is a shop at reception selling essentials and a coffee machine. The hotel is situated in a perfect place to near by clubs, bars and restaurants We had a fab time definately will stay here again.”

“Quiet hostel with people of all ages. I ended up staying for 3 nights, the kitchen was awesome and I loved the common areas they had. Staff was super welcoming, but the vibe of the hostel isn’t really to meet people. I had a great time though, it was the perfect place to relax and take it slow after being in loud, party hostels in cities. Cleanest hostel I’ve ever stayed in as well. Location was great, near a school and in a nice neighborhood. Only a short walk to the city center, river Ness, and the bus/train station.”

“The most unwelcoming place EVER!! I went in today with my BF who is a member & been asking me to go with him for months, to checkout the facilities with view to swapping from borough park to moorville. Well firstly there was no one on reception, my bf signed himself in and said he’ll speak to the manager about my guest pass. I went in the gym and within 5 minutes a woman (the absent receptionist) was stood in front of us, demanding us to leave and saying loudly we had to go. It was so embarrassing, you do not speak to people this way, she was so vile and rude. My partner told her he was a member and she was having none of it. They went to the reception and he told her she’d owe him an apology once she had looked at the screen. She looked at the screen and shouted SORRY, like a nutter. When I left I told her I was very disappointed I didn’t get a trail as I had come with view to joining and my experience with her had put me off. She then shouted she didn’t want people like me. Seriously get some new staff!! RUDE!!”
