“We attended the Noel Christmas program Saturday night. The program was absolutely wonderful and beautiful. And not what wee were expecting to see. The event center probably hosts a lot of livestock/animal type events. As we entered and waited on the dinner part of the event to begin, the aroma of barn dung hung heavily in the air. Wow. We wondered what we had gotten ourselves into. But if Mary could give birth in a barn and Jesus could lay in the castles manger, we could handle the smell for a couple hours. But when we sat down the the dinner being served by the Amish women of the area, there was no offensive barn odor. We enjoyed -thourougly enjoyed - the dinner and the Christmas show presented that evening. It was such a an enjoyable event, we are looking forward to next Year Christmas celebration program.”

“Had a event here for work. The facility itself was clean and looked nice. Breakfast was served and was pretty. Would have loved to have seen coffee karafs on the tables for attendees to have been able to easily refill their cups without having to disrupt the flow of the meeting by having to get up and walk to the back of the room for a refill. The PA system also had issues with feedback that the facility staff lacked knowledge to correct.”

“The fact that all my vendors were truly amazing is one of the main reasons that I wasn’t a complete mess while wedding planning! Lol… on the day of my wedding I met the crew behind the set up for my wedding dinner and I loved their personalities. Our sales rep that had helped me through Nelsons was on top of it!! Julie was great at answering all my questions even though she was freaking busy. I was always treated so kindly ..! The day of food was great !! We had so much left over (which was nicely packaged and set to the side for convenience after the event) the left overs were tasty!! I truly enjoyed my favorites (applesauce, meatballs,& Mac cheese)”

“I visited this restaurant located in a historical house, and the ambiance was pretty impressive. The building had a lot of character and historical charm. However, I found it a bit unfortunate that the quality of the food didn't quite measure up to the beauty of the mansion. While the atmosphere was great, the dining experience was somewhat underwhelming, and I expected the food to be more comparable to the grand setting. Overall, a decent place with a unique ambiance, but improvements could be made for the food.”

“County fair, always fun. This year our emphasis was the senior awards. Enjoyed the concessions and especially the 4-H buildings and vendors stalls. We arrived before the fairway opened to focus on the other things available. It's also easier to get about before the fairway crowd arrives.”
