“Visited on a couple of occasions now. First time was to just visit the shop other times for food as well as a little look around the shop. I always enjoy a little browse when there. Can't recommended the beef sandwich with triple cooked chips enough! All the food that comes out look lovely. Farm shop prices are really good too. I'd certainly recommend having a look at the butchers counter lovely tasting meats at good prices.”

“I used to love this store, but not anymore. Not sure what's happened over the past few months. Shelves not stocked as they used to be and often queues at the tills. On several occasions I have paid for feed at the tills, go to collect at the warehouse to be told it is out of stock. Their walkie talkie system between tills and warehouse often don't work. Even had the wrong feed bags loaded into my car - Can they read the collection note? All a faff to get refunds and swap - especially if you have to drive back! The odd mistake yes, but it is happening far too often. Seems a lot of staff wandering aimlessly about who are happy to help, but don't look constructive. Perhaps some could make sure that all goods have price tags or man the customer service desk? Today I couldn't buy animal medicines at the counter as they did not have qualified staff to serve and won't have till Monday. So I've bought them cheaper on line. In my opinion just not good enough! It used to be a good store - what has happened?”

“Good toilets in a building to far left / behind the farm shop. Cafe in rear left corner requires getting your name down on a paper wait list (do not just queue outside as we did) which we didn’t learn until a few people got sat. At such point we could no longer be accommodated. However! There is a delicatessen inside the farm shop so we filled a shopping bag with goodies and sat outside. Luckily it wasn’t windy nor raining. Farm shop is a bit more expensive as expected but the presentation and selection was delightful. The marquee Xmas market at the back made for a lovely stroll through. Had some sausage rolls, sandwiches, cream cones and coffees. Nice to stop by though nothing on Chatsworth House at this time of year!”

“This is an excellent garden centre and restaurant somewhat off the beaten track on the outskirts of Glasgow near Mearnskirk. The restaurant is ultra popular and busy. It is on the richer belt south side area and is well known by locals. A chance visit is fine but booking is advisable. It has an extensive menu. Soups , sandwiches,flatbreads, paninis, baked Potatoes,dinner type maincourses and a wide selection of Bakery and desserts to tempt the sweet tooth. Service is fast and staff are friendly and helpful.A fantastic dining experience for any time of day. There is an outside terrace for finer weather days with spectacular views looking westward toward Ben Lomond area. Well worth seeking out.”

“the garden centre is a lovely small family run garden centre with great prices and nice staff. the fishing lake is the best one around, can easily catch 100lbs of carp in a day the biggest weight i recall is 269lbs winning which is insane. i do wish they would publish either on facebook or their website the dates the lake is unavailable as it is a fair trek for some people. other improvement (which is quite easy to do) is some peg numbers including for outside of matches, all it requires is afew posts with metal plates showing numbers. had some amazing days fishing here”
