Seriously, I’m in there with a seemingly defective product, a high level of “I rode nearly 10 miles to work in the dark because this light set…” frustration and they say things like, “Ok.” and “I’m here to listen.” and, better still, “We’ll make this right.” And they did. Yeah, you can find cheaper and free of everything somewhere other than in this tried and true, real world co-op, but maybe not two or three times in a two week spread like I did with this particular hassle. They were so good to me while taking in my frowning unhappiness. For instance, I can’t return either that cool sweatshirt I found on the ground in Westmoreland Park for a different size or that dented, garbage pile fender that won’t make it on my aged bike anyway. You know? Alright REI. I still can’t afford the lifetime membership. Yet. Maybe. “So there.” they must be saying. Thanks a bunch. Earned respect.”

They are located in a shopping center that has lots of other stores around it including a smoke shop, Bank of America, post office, jewelry store, dry cleaners, and even a disc golf course across the street. Prices are a little spendy for my liking but we went there for the convenience. The cashier was nice enough and she did give us $5 bills for our change as requested. Thanks Safeway!😁”

“Ilove this store. When we lived in Vancouver 6 years ago, I only got my shoes from Jay's. So, while visiting last month, I went in to get shoes. The people who work there are really nice and know their stuff! I'm diabetic and need a wide show. I was looking for a particular kind of shoe. The gentleman who helped me showed me which ones would be best for my needs. They were ideal for what I was wanting, but I had to take a size larger due to them not being wide shoes. After wearing them around the house a few days I noticed they were slipping a lot and running a blister on my upper heels. I took them back and asked for a half size smaller. This store didn't hv it in white, but ordered it from another store to be delivered to me in Georgia. They arrived about a week later and are PERFECT! I love them and will prob get another pair, or two, in different colors. (They are Taos brand) I highly recommend this store. Thank you to all who helped me. I appreciate you and was so glad to see y'all were still there.”

“Here is my story about they said they will hold shoes for you. Before Thanksgiving, I chose a nike sneaker for my daughter, size 12. I got a 30% off coupon in email, so I showed to Cashier, The cashier was super nice said I cannot use it now but she will hold them for me. After three days, I drove 40 minutes to this store, they said they cannot find that pair, and it was the last one. I saw a size 11 on counter but a leader cashier said she cannot sell it to me. No excuse, no sorry. All I got was they cannot find it. I got a polite, cold, impatient service, not one smile or sorry in it. you cannot complain, nothing enough to complain. My daughter still looking forward to this sneaker. So I still bought a size one, the last pair on shelf, she may wear it after three years. Then the cashier said sorry, you cannot use this coupon. So why let me wait three days, 40 min drive, and no size for me??? I will never shop in DSW again. Now I don't want to look the box, I just throw it in garage. It is remind I am clumsy of speech and a coward to fight for myself.”
