“Amazing card and board game shop, with a huge selection of Magic cards as well as Pokémon cards and more. Prices are good. Massive board game wall on the left side when you come in, and lots of other miscellaneous card/board game-related things like sleeves, tokens, dice, etc. One of my favourite things about the store is that there is a cafe within! The prices are amazing for what you get (especially for the food), and everything we ordered was delicious. For vegans, the staff member working was super accommodating and was able to make the loaded fries vegan for my partner and they were VERY good (especially with the cajun seasoning). The espresso drinks were amazing as well— I ordered a flavoured latte, and it came out looking great and tasting even better. All in all I highly recommend coming here if you’re in the area and have any interest in card games, board games, D&D, etc. It’s really fun, the staff are lovely, and the cafe is an incredible plus that makes it a blast to hang out at!:)”

“Great place to get African food. They have pretty much everything, from fufu (cassava leaves) to goat meat and fish boxes. Fresh meat can be expensive compared to local supermarkets, so my family only goes there to buy specific African foods and goat meat.”

“I love the scrubs. Amazing selection. I don’t doubt that the employees are knowledgeable, and I understand and appreciate their friendly greeting and asking if I need help finding anything…that said- once I say “I’m just looking at the moment”, it was a bit much to be asked 3 more times during my time in the store whether I need help- I almost didn’t even buy anything because I was genuinely annoyed.”

“A good clothing store with many options. They do change their clothing options frequently so if you are thinking of buying something, I would get it at the time rather than waiting for the next time. It may be gone before you come back. There are not many cash registers open at the same time, so there is a wait at times depending on how busy the store is. There are dressing rooms available. The men’s dressing rooms usually do not have a line, but I have noticed that the female dressing rooms in the bottom of the store are usually quite busy and require a wait time. They also have articles of clothing that are on sale and they change the three company so if you’re looking for a deal, it would be worth checking out.”

“By far one of the best buying experiences I have ever had. When I first walked into the store I was greeted by Foster. He took the time to determine my needs and explain my options. He was very thorough with his explanations and very passionate about the brand. He turned my first bike purchase into a very stress free experience. Upon pick up of my new bike I was greeted by Tristan who took the time to explain and adjust my bike to suit my height. He very patiently showed me how to use my new clip in shoes and explained the care and maintenance of my bike. I highly recommend Giant Ottawa for your next bike purchase! Keep up the amazing work!!!”

“Lilah helped me fix an issue at had and was very useful because I’m half deaf and her projecting her voice truly helped me while people at DSW just grew irritated with me. She also apologized for the experience. She shared with me that she can have hearing issues sometimes too and try’s to help people with disabilities to have a continuous and lovely shopping experience.”

“Closed early! The worst thing to do to a hard working pot smoker is prompt them to come in for a late night grab, and let them arrive to closed doors! This isn't the only review I see for these guys that mention an unexpected early closing time, so if you are going here with the expectation that they will be open later think again as their hours are clearly based on the whims of their employees. As a bartender and server, not only do I work late hours but I also have made sure to recommend this place to everyone who finds themselves in similar situations as per the promised late hours, not anymore! Never again boys, I won't be back, that's so not cool. False advertising”
