I learned that they like to collab with artists to create limited edition collections. I only wish they would stock more smaller sizes. I ended up not getting anything because the didn’t have small in the items I wanted. I was able to get them at the location in Vieux Port (not on Google Maps but attached to Café Olympico).”

Over 160 of them, which originated from my childhood in the UK, some 58 years ago. So, I was buying them as they came out! Incredible memories. Alex is a very gracious and friendly host, and today he came to my apartment to evaluate my collection. I must say, he was most generous with his expertise and time, and was very sensitive to my emotional attachment to these wonderful comics. He passed on much valued (and valuable) advice about the world of comic trading, of which I was unaware. So much free information: amazing fellow. He was very supportive, and at no time did I feel under pressure to sell them to him. In the end I decided to think about it, based on my attachment, but also because of his insightful advice. It's not an easy thing, parting with your beloved comics that formed so much of your early life. But he understood this: he's not a mercenary. It's his true passion. Thank you, Alex. “So... I went the wrong way and walked by this store by accident. I could see the prices from outside, so I just walked in. I never skip a thrift store; they always have fun stuff. This friperie has a wide range of clothing, shoes, bags, etc. There's no way you walk out of it empty handed. The prices are quite reasonable too. Besides a new crop top from Dynamite that cost $30, everything else ranged from 5.50-20. The also have a variety of games, books, sports gear, utensils, etc on the second floor. I used to visit Anthropologie in Downtown but they closed it that was sad...Last time I bought some lovely stuff but unfortunately there was little issue for that merchandise. The items in the store are donated and for some reason they are very strict on selling them? A tea set weather a pair or not should not be that hard to sell. There seems to be no manager around to speak to in the store. Needs more cashier as the wait in the line is really long on busy days. The employees and managers need a friendlier approach and understand that their store caters to people who wants to save money and help the environment and not make the customers feel like they are being restricted off a bargain item.”
