“We (the Booster Club officers and choir department) are so appreciative of Dixie Flag Co. since you keep the banner design files on record, and were able to help turn around a new banner for us without extra design and approval time, when we realized we had not replaced our awesome Hello Texas over-the-street banner you had made us previously - since it was shredded in the huge tornado in January '23, a week before our event last year in Deer Park. Your designers, account people and obviously your manufacturers all got to work and helped out. It was tight, but you got us a new banner made and we had time to have the city hang up the banner 3 weeks before the Hello Texas event this year.”

“Needed rank sewn on my uniform shirts. Brought in 6 shirts and asked if they could do 2 on the spot, and they said they could. When they finished the 2 on the spot, I noticed the rank was not located the proper distance down from the patch, according to my department policy. This was also my fault because I didn't tell them the distance, I just assumed they were all pretty close. They fixed it on the spot, and I even offered to pay extra since it was my mistake and not theirs, but they declined and fixed it. This is a bit of a drive for me, but they definitely earned my business from here on out. Galls won't sew anything on the spot!”

I stood in the normal line for a very short time (they have a counter that’s specifically indicated client services and returns but it wasn’t open). “Starline costumes is definitely one of my favorite local businesses to visit. Although one would think that the business is mostly relevant during the Halloween season, I've been able to benefit from their expertise and production availability year-round. They offer different costumes depending on the season and currently have a huge selection of Christmas themed costumes. They also have a constant supply of other themed costumes such as medieval/Renaissance, superhero, Greek/Roman/Egyptian, and more. They also have a constant supply of theatrical makeup. The workers were able to assist me with picking out a setting spray and powder for me to use with my regular makeup and it works amazingly well! If you're looking for anything fun, theatrical, or costume-y at any time of the year, you should definitely check out Starline!”

I didn't know what glasses I wanted so I wasn't going to purchase any because I couldn't seem to choose any I liked and she told me I should take advantage of the deal going on since I was ordering contacts and offered to help me pick out some that she thought would look good on me. I ended up choosing some and I'm so happy I did because they look great and I got an amazing deal as well. She is an amazing employee. So sweet, personable, and helpful. My husband will be coming back to purchase glasses and contacts here as well solely because of my experience with her!”

“Just wanted to share what a great experience I had here. On our trip to Texas this time I wanted to get a custom cowboy hat. I Checked out multiple hat stores online before our trip and decided on Paris Hatters, because they were with in walking distance of our hotel and also the fact they were around for a long time and have a good history. I did read the reviews on the store and was a little nervous going in due to the 1 star reviews I read. I went in on Wednesday and was greeted by a very nice young lady, She did ask me questions but as this was my first custom type hat I let a lot up to her. She showed me several hats that she thought would be good for me and when I picked one she got my size and then let me try on the hat. She then helped me pick out a hat band that really went well with the hat. I then told her that my wife was there on business and she would want to see it before I bought it which she was OK with. My wife and I went back in on Thursday afternoon and the young lady that helped me was off that day so the young gentleman in the picture then helped us. I showed him the the hat and band I was looking at and the size, he did make sure the size was correct and then got the hat. He did some adjustments to it and fit it on me. I decided that was the hat I wanted and my wife also agreed. After I told him what shape I was looking for he went on and shaped it to exactly what I wanted. The Hat turned out great and I love it and the whole experience was great, just what I expected getting a custom hat to be. I also met the owners and others that were working in the shop and they were all very nice and helpful. On Friday my wife noticed a spot of glue under the band and I forgot to get my picture with the hat at the store. We returned to the store that afternoon and they fixed my band and got the little area of glue cleaned up and he noticed that the fit needed a little adjustment so he did that. Overall it was a great experience and I love my new hat and everybody at the shop was nice and very helpful ( even with questions not regarding hats ) Thank you for a great experience.”

The store is not big, the selection is smaller than many stores but they make it up with friendly familiarity. It is like a sari-sari store feel just like in the Philippines.”

“Today was my first visit ever to this store and I must say that the lady working the register was very friendly and very helpful while we were browsing around the store. She asked more than once if we needed help finding things and she was very friendly when we checked out. We were here on a weekday, so it wasn’t too crowded, but they were slightly busy. They are located on Broadway but have an ample parking lot. They are on the pricey side for some of the t-shirts and apparel, but they have a good selection of Fiesta medals. They are all showcased in a glass display case and you take a slip of paper and write down the number of the medal you want. Some of them don’t have numbers on them so you just write down the name of the medal. For Fiesta apparel, you might be better off checking out Market Square. Things are a bit cheaper over there.”
