“Had my septum pierced yesterday with Unikorn - it was my first time going there - and I have to say it was the best piercing experience I’ve ever had - there was less pain than some of the ear piercings I have had in the past and the lady that did it for me was super sweet, explained everything well and made sure I was comfortable! it also looks perfect! the shop itself is beautiful with something for everyone and is a great way to spend your time whilst waiting for your piercing appointment! thank you again unikorn! ❤️”

“Visited to buy cards and gifts for my daughter’s birthday. Unhelpful , rude and unprofessional service by Cathy, acting store manager . She will “give it a go” to action correct pricing . “We have a lot of pilfering in the alcohol aisle “and “ all branches of Sainsbury’s nationally have a tannoy that requests staff to attend the alcohol aisle as soon as a customer enters the aisle”. This is untrue. Her final comment , over her shoulder “Whatever “!! No wonder Sainsbury’s is losing it’s market share ,rude staff like this do not inspire loyalty from paying customers.”

The optometrist was friendly and provided good advice on my options regarding reading glasses. Big thank you to Shane for a great job sorting out my new glasses order and adjusting my old glasses. “JD in general I thought it was big, a lot of people use to make such a big fuss about it. However as far as my experience goes it just one big disappointment in store and online. Generally the store I went to some of the staff were amazing, however long waiting time and know one seems to know or have information, just useless. Even the customer service online nothing. Its just one big disappointment. I don't see what the hype and fuss was all about. JD waiting so long for what I was looking for, no one knew when it was gonna be in stock if ever. Then forced me to use delivery no other option paid for delivery. First they said there was an error then took my money. Then I got a email confirmation. Now today all day wasted stress, anxiety waiting all day as they emailed me to say it will be done by yodel its due today. YODEL no delivery I have to wait. It a continuous none ending painful suffering experience. Its best to just avoid JD and its lies and services useless.”

Having been with a range of opticians, both high and low-end, as well as independent ones, I can confidently say that this Specsavers is the best optician I have ever visited. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, while the optometrists are exceptionally professional and knowledgeable. They don't engage in hard selling or pressure you into buying frames. I wholeheartedly recommend them (but I also selfishly don’t want them to get any busier than they do 😅)!!!”

“Went in today to do my normal shopping, and had a few parcels to collect. Waited 20mins and the lady came out and said they were having problems finding some of the items. 45mins later they had found all my parcels after a bit of a nightmare. This was made so much better by a lovely lady called Christine who gave a me a little present for being so patient and understanding with her. She was lovely!!”
