“Quality is great. Help is good, as expected given the price point. I've been buying Filson for 25 years and while the quality has maintained, the manufacturing of some (many) garments is offshore now, but you pay USA-made prices. If you stick to the Mackinaw wool and waxed cotton luggage, you're still getting a Seattle-made (close to it) product at a good Seattle-made (Kent really) price. Other stuff you're probably overpaying but quality like this is hard to come by at any price.”

“Fast same day repair of an Airwand that kept cutting out. The warranty just expired, but they replaced the power cable and waived the fee. This is how you get return customers. We have three Dyson products, and I won’t hesitate to come back if needed.”

Seattle Goodwill

Dearborn, 1400 S Lane St, Seattle, WA 98144, United States

“Went here on Veteran’s Day to use the 20% off discount and boy was it a headache. The first cashier we went to seemed to have never heard about this deal and kept talking about the blue tag discount. I asked probably 5 times to confirm that the veteran discount was applied to my order, and he said yes over and over, saying I’d see it on my receipt. I was skeptical of this since the price he said didn’t make sense, so I checked my receipt before walking away and lo and behold the discount wasn’t applied. I brought it up immediately and he seemed confused and shooed me off to the return counter person for them to fix it. When we got up to that counter, the woman working said “no the discount is only on Veteran’s Day”, as if it wasn’t Veteran’s Day today. I had to pull out my phone to show her the text I got about the discount this morning, despite the discount deal being plastered around the store already. I had to fight to convince her that the discount was for today, and she finally agreed and I was able to redo my purchase and have the discount applied. My partner then cashed out with her on a separate purchase, asking to use the discount as well. When she said the price of his order, it yet again seemed too high to have the discount attached, but she insisted over and over that the discount was applied. We paid, checked the receipt immediately again, and found that she only applied the discount on one bottle of water and not the entire order, despite the discount being advertised for the use on the entire order. At this point we just left, it seemed useless to fight with someone else again and go in more circles to get the discount used correctly. Thanks for a 30 minute headache of a checkout experience!”

Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory

1419 1st Ave, Seattle, WA 98101, United States

“There is street parking. If you’re staying downtown it is at a walkable distance. The place is big and plenty of space to sit. The staff was great and friendly. The hot cocoa was delicious. They’ve plenty of chocolate varieties from drinks, snacks, ice cream, etc. Overall if you’re visiting Seattle would recommend coming if you have a sweet tooth.”

Rad Power Bikes - Ebike Sales & Service Center
4.1
( 8 reviews )

1128 NW 52nd St, Seattle, WA 98107, United States

“Caveat Emptor! Spent a good amount of my hard-earned for what I thought was a quality product. Just over the warranty period, the metal stand whose only purpose is to hold the bike up while in folded position collapsed on itself like butter after approximately three uses, each use being for only a few minutes each. The bike odometer shows only 200 miles (I have not been able to ride for the last few months sadly). I was surprised that a metal part would break so easily and when I showed the piece to a local welder they stated that the aluminum was boiled during the welding process (the two simultaneous breaks/failures happened right next to the welds), causing imperfections and damage to the metal structure. In other words, the welder temperature settings were set too high during the manufacturing process. When I approached customer service at Rad Power Bikes they simply refused to assist, saying that the warranty had expired and "it was decided there was no indication of a manufacturing defect" Who decided this, the janitor? Were they a skilled welder, too? In my opinion, a layman could look at the piece and see there was inconsistent structure... Judge for yourselves if you want to work with/pay a company that treats its customers like this. Not an awesome company.”

“Just received my pillows I ordered today in the mail. They are even more beautiful in person! Very vibrant colors and actually very comfortable. So glad I took a chance and ordered them. I will definitely be placing future orders. Oh! And the pillows were reasonably priced as well. ❤️”

Card Exchange

( 10 reviews )
Closed until 10:00 AM

14020 Aurora Ave N, Seattle, WA 98133, United States

“My recent visit to Card Exchange left me thoroughly disappointed. It's evident that this establishment lacks integrity and fairness in their dealings. Witnessing an employee swindle a customer out of valuable Pokémon cards, offering a mere fraction of their worth, was disheartening. It's unacceptable to offer only 50% less than market value, leaving the seller with a mere $500 for items worth thousands. Additionally, when they attempted to purchase my items, they offered a paltry 70% of their value. Furthermore, the owner's complaints about rent prices came across as unprofessional and irrelevant to the customer experience. Overall, Card Exchange falls short of being a reputable card shop and fails to uphold fair and ethical business practices.”

“Higher prices than Fred Meyer or other off-island QFCs. Would be fine if the store wasn’t so dated! Seems like the store was built in 1990 and never remodeled. Time for a refresh, Kroger Co!”

The Last Drop Bottle Shop

8016 15th Ave NE, Seattle, WA 98115, United States

“Love this place. Chill vibe, great beer selection (both cans to go and beer on tap), awesome music on their record player, and TVs with sports on. This place is my go to for a drink in the neighborhood.”

Value Village

14160 NE Woodinville Duvall Rd, Woodinville, WA 98072, United States

“Great items, you can save a ton of money. Every Wednesday there's military discount of 25% off. Unfortunately, Value Village has been steadily increasing its prices to the point some of them equal retail prices. This is quite bad for a second hand, used goods store, and it really defeats the purpose of shopping there.”

“You know, I got what I was looking for! All (almost all) the stores in this days are locking up the condoms. I don’t know why. But at this store I got in and out. But generally when I was working in this area, this Target was one of my favorite stores. Things easy to find. I’m a person that I’m not wandering around, I just go in get what I need and out. Thank you! 😉”

“Great little store, always a fun selection of sneakers to browse through. I wish they had cheaper options for the clothing, however. They carry brands like Human Made, Carhartt WIP, Carrots, Issey Miyaki, Stussy etc - the cheapest shirt you’ll find is $50. Just wish they had better options because for that money, I’m usually buying better quality online (eg Grailed/eBay thrifting, SSENSE sales, etc). Now that FOG Essentials are sitting, it’d be great if they carried more brands like that. Would keep me coming back. Shoe selection is also best in Seattle. Only place I’d find Salomons and Yasihuro shoes sitting next to Jordans and NBs. If you pull up shortly after a drop, you’ll pleasantly be surprised by that sneaker you had your eye on but didn’t pull the trigger. How I got my first pair of Salehe crocs :) But yeah, great store. I wish it weren’t so claustrophobic and that they had a better list of options to consider, but the staff are great and it’s so fun to actually shop when you’re looking for a new pair of sneakers or elevated streetwear.”

The Cool

The Cool

( 16 reviews )

345 Tukwila Pkwy, Tukwila, WA 98188, United States

“Recently I went to the The Cool and I did not have a good customer experience when I was there. The employees seemed to have a “too cool for school” or an “I don’t wanna be here” type of attitude. They were on their phones and blasting music and not even greeting or paying attention to the customers. Doesn’t seem like customer service is a high priority on their list. Overall, The Cool has dope hyped clothing and accessories, but the customer service needs to be better.”
