“Do not waste your money on the horse and buggy ride offered during the holiday season. We were scheduled for 545. It tells you to arrive at 530 he got there at 549, and it took forever for the 4 adults and 2 kids to get off. I asked if we would get the full 15 min, and he said the ride is 10-12 minutes. We got on at 550 and got back at right when it turned 5:59, barely 9 minutes. We spent way too much for that, and it really was nothing special. Half of the ride is nice, barely 9 minutes. The other half you are in a parking lot, even looking at garbage in certain areas. We were very disappointed. As far as Fenton itself, I love the layout( firepit, turf, lounge swings, giant chess) and it's definitely a great place to shop with a variety of stores and great places to eat. Horse ride 1 star Fenton itself We loved!”

“Just had a super, super uncomfortable visit on 12/10/23. Heading towards self-checkout like we've been doing for years, and an employee tries to direct us to a register. We said we preferred self-checkout and tried to keep walking, but she put her hand on our cart and tried to block us, then made a comment as we kept walking that we had a lot of items. Self-checkout has no item limit and as I said, we've been doing this for years at this location. If the cashiers had the bagging skills seen at Trader Joe's, we would use the normal lanes more often, but as it is, we prefer bagging ourselves. We get to the self-checkout area and someone hollers that they're free, but we see three open self-checkout stations so we choose one. One last employee tries to get us to check out with him. We reiterated our preference and he said, "Okay, I'm watching you like a hawk." I said, "Is that what this is about?" As it was clear by that point that all this aggressive behavior was only about preventing shoplifting, not keeping foot traffic flowing across lanes. He either didn't understand me or pretended not to. I'm still in shock over our experience. If the manager/Target needs to prevent shoplifting, there are way, way better ways to go about it than trying to override your customers in that manner and treating them like criminals. The way we were treated two times over is absolutely unacceptable. There is no excuse. My husband and I were doing nothing wrong, we were being perfectly normal. We felt harassed and accosted. UPDATE: I filled out the survey for my visit and heard from someone with the title “SE ETL” who did not explain his role. Though his response included an apology, it fell flat, as though I’d been complaining about something inane and routine. Overall, the nature and level of response felt inappropriate. He made no gesture to incentivize us to give this store another chance. Our experience was disturbing, and I’m certain that every employee we mentioned was acting on direction/training from leadership. Employees do not just decide to collectively be aggressive in the interest of loss prevention all on their own. I will be sharing my experience with corporate in the interest of other customers and this store’s employees.”

“First time shopping at this location. Still surprised this became a target because at one time when I went to NCSU it was a bowling alley. Just did a drive up pickup to this location. The other target location did not have it any. They have a side underneath parking for pickup and if you come shopping. Parking time limit looked like max 1 hr shopping parking . Any way employee came out quick greeted me in car and he was masked. Overall for drive-up pickup I would do again. Note they only have 2 spots permanent and during holiday season more.”

“Place was clean and loved the system of scanning kicks on the wall. Selection was excellent, had some crazy grails. Employees were chill and helped me out a bit. Thought about buying a pair and realized they were taxing soooo bad. Some pairs that were listed as good condition were absolutely destroyed and still marked up close to new price. Crazy how I almost gave in and lost some. Love the layout but not the prices. I know they need profit but for the amount they had em for, was outrageous.I would definitely recommend SNKR club over Courtside any day, go check my review there and you’ll see why.”
