“Giving 4 stars because shame on the managers from what I saw today around 2 pm, 1 cashier at self checkout handling a long line and 1 cashier at a register handling a long line to which both of them did a wonderful job. NO and I mean not 1 manager came up to help these cashiers clear the long lines that were forming I don't want to hear or see any lame excuses that they were busy and couldn't help or it's not their job to hop on and help out. Those 2 cashiers did their job with a smile on their faces they were kind and welcoming. When another girl decided to get on a register she took people who just walked up to the back of the line instead of those who had been waiting that is something that needs to be put in check and worked on because you ALWAYS take the next person in line who had been waiting longer than the rest. Do better next time. Don't give the short staff excuse either you get enough business to schedule more cashiers to work but it's very typical of retailers to cut back on hours during certain times of year.”

“Seems like a decent Meijer. The hot food section is well stocked, which is something the others nearby often fail at. Not as much variety as I was hoping for. Still need to shop the local Kroger for a LOT of stuff that Meijer just doesn't carry. The produce and liquor sections are nice as well. Let's see how it is once they settle in and the newness wears off.”

“I would like to share my negative experience at Saks fifth Avenue in Troy with employee name Christina Zeytuna every time I walk there never smile always give us bad attitude never help us with any of our business I’m type of person that who likes to shop in the store every time she direct me order online and never help us always walk in the middle of conversation I hope this address her manager and help her to fix attitudes. Thank you and good luck. I do not recommend anyone to go and shop by her.”

“I went to New Balance 5/27/2023 and had a wonderful experience. First off, New Balance has the best stability shoes EVER the 860s. I decided to try the Vongos because they are like the 860's but with more cushioning. We had an employee named Larry who went above and beyond the call of duty to help my wife and I. The wife had him bring one of every shoe in the store for her to try on, but he was cool and very professional, lol. I haven't had service that good in a while. LARRY DESERVES A RAISE!!!!!”

“I was very disappointed with Tony at the Madison Heights location today. I was trying to exchange a hoodie I received as a Christmas gift. The tags were on it and I had the receipt. Tony tried saying the sleeve was wet, which it was not. He said he would return it, against his better judgment. It was never even worn. Try being a little more professional when dealing with the public. I ended up just returning it and will never give my business to them again.”

“Forgot a roll of paper towels at the store after getting groceries earlier in the day and went in with my receipt to see if I could grab another one. I understand it was my fault for leaving it there, but but service attendant did the bare minimum in trying to figure out what happened and forgot the location I told her it happened at twice. It all resolved with her giving me some moral high ground story of not being able to just give out things even though I had the receipt in hand and it definitely would have shown me leaving it here on the security footage. I don’t understand why I couldn’t have just grabbed it, I talked to a clerk in the store who agreed I should’ve just been able to grab it. If you need help with something from the service desk don’t bother.”

“The deals are great! I will warn new shoppers that the clearance sections are not well organized. However, you can find very high end clothes for prices you won't find elsewhere when you hit the right sale. Most of the items that I looked at were 80% off the full price or under $25 (if it was not 80% off). I buy most of my clothes there and are really happy with prices and the quality of the clothes.”

“Being patient, understanding, & polite, goes a load way. For all the negative reviews, some may just be rushing. But not empathetic to the fact, the guys inside have a LOT going on at once. They aren’t rude. Just no time to be upset or happy. Just business stoicism. It’s no disrespect to drivers. But. I was in & out on a reasonable 2 hours, & my positive but upright energy gained me even a water. Don’t come in untold told to by your dispatch. Maybe, slightly earlier. They do have some parking, but may be full. Be safe out here. I appreciate these prompt & busy guys.”
