“When you’re around American Mura please drop by Suzume. We saw that there was a short line outside and decided to see and try, they were happy enough to assist us. It was only a 12 seater bar, but they were so efficient in their service and customer turn out. It was impressive. We ordered their level 2 spicy & non spicy special Tsukemen and we were so happy with their food. The noodles was al dente, pork very soft and the egg was cooked nicely. The dipping soup was so tasty despite being spicy, you can taste the flavors. They even have a ginger & yuzu soup base to finish off your sauce. Would highly recommend this to anyone who happens to walk around America Mura.”

“A cute American-style hamburger joint! The staff were all very polite and the environment was pretty cozy. They had some nice deals (+50 yen for fries if you get a hamburger and beer) and the service was nice. Spiderman was playing while I waited for my food! The burger had a really nice flavor, and the fries were thin and crispy. The burger would have been even better if they toasted the buns. Unfortunately, the burger was a bit sloppy due to the fluffy buns, but otherwise it was very nice. I got the Smoked Cheese Burger, and it was delicious! I'd probably rank it in the top 5 burgers I've had in Japan. Also a bonus! I got lucky and visited at a time they were offering craft beer for 100 yen a glass! I don't believe it is a common thing for them to offer, but it was a nice touch!”

“Parking was free. There was an entrance on the left side of Family Mart, and from there we took the elevator to the 2nd floor. We arrived at 11:30, but there were still quite a few people in line. It's like taking a menu tag for each main dish and proceeding. Add some side dishes along the way. Other than the curry and noodles, I included miso soup and rice for free. It was 650 yen for pork cutlet and dashimaki egg. Today I had white rice or seafood pilaf, but I chose white rice. You can also use PayPay etc. Many people came, from the general public to truck drivers. I'm very satisfied with the volume! The toilet was also on the same floor and was comfortable.”

Grill Maruyoshi

Japan, 〒545-0052 Osaka, Abeno Ward, Abenosuji, 1 Chome−6−1 ヴィアあべのウォーク130

“Grill Maruyoshi. About 10 years ago, Abeno redevelopment, which had been stalled for a long time, made some progress with the completion of Q's Mall and the widening of the Hankai Electric Railway. Grill Maruyoshi has been renovated as a store in a part of Q's Mall (Via Abeno Walk) and is still thriving. I know this about 50 years ago. On the west side of the Hankai Railway, there were many restaurants and pachinko parlors, and along the now-defunct Abeno Ginza, there were pubs, giving the place a run-down feel, but there were many sparkling famous shops there. Among them, in the area just after entering Abeno Ginza and heading south down the alley, there were Abeno Musashi, the ``city Chinese giant'' at the time, and Grill Maruyoshi, the star of Tennoji's Western cuisine. Until ``Gyoza General'' began to take over the Kansai area, ``Abeno Musashi'' boasted an atmosphere and authentic taste that was closer to ``Real Chinese'' than other Chinese restaurants in the city. (We will introduce “Abeno Musam” separately) On the way to Abeno Musam, I found Grill Maruyoshi. At ``Abe no Musam'', I could eat ramen, fried rice, or rice bowl for lunch for about 500 yen, and a set meal of rice and side dishes for about 800 yen, so I used to pass by the aroma of Western food at this restaurant, but once or twice a year. Once in a while, I opened the glass door of Grill Maruyoshi. The thing I remember best is "beef stew." As a Western restaurant, it is natural that the standard of this restaurant is ``Demi Glace Sauce'', but I think this ``Beef Stew'' allows you to enjoy the ``Demi Glace Sauce'' to its fullest. Mixing the crumbly chunks of meat with demi-glace sauce and stuffing it into your mouth with rice is sure to make you happy. Even now, ``cabbage rolls'' seem to be popular, but half of the sauce on the ``cabbage rolls'' is ``curry sauce'' and the other half is ``demiglace sauce.'' The other day, I passed by the store and entered. It was my first time at the new store. I was planning on having ``cabbage rolls'' or ``beef stew,'' but since I was familiar with the flavors, I decided on Lunch A, which I thought I could enjoy with a variety of flavors: fried white meat, croquettes, and chicken cutlet. All of them were delicious, but the croquette with ``Demiglace sauce'' was the best. It was 1,350 yen, but I felt it was a good value.”

“The pizza was expensive so we had high expectations but, it came out a little bit raw. The dough felt a little chewy, I would have also preferred more tomato sauce. I enjoyed the sardines for starters and had a good menu. But for the price that they are selling I would have expected it to taste a lot better.”

“I can safely guarantee that there no better theme park food than the ones in Japan 🇯🇵 The ribeye was pretty good. Just as good in any American steak house if I’m to be honest. The lamb doesn’t have that gamy smell. The meat was soft and tender and juicy! If you have a bigger appetite, go for the sale and soup set; those are delicious as well. The restaurant can get busy real quick after the park opens. You could either make the reservation in advance or you could go and get the Q when you arrive at the park.”

“I've passed by the store several times, and there was always a line before the store opened, and I was especially concerned because the tempura set meal sold out early. I gathered my spirits and visited the store for the first time before opening time, and ordered the tempura set meal for ¥1,200. I was told that it would take 30 to 40 minutes to prepare, so I couldn't order it during my lunch break as an office lady. In addition, two shrimp with heads were used, and although it looked gorgeous, I didn't want to eat it again.”

“A humble shop ran by the grandma and the grandson, even if so, they still provide cold tea and 50yen discount for every transaction The takoyaki batter is so chewy, unlike most other places, its sprinkled with seaweed pieces which gave it some umami taste . I went there again the very next day.”
