I wouldn't be surprised if they have a secret menu with Animal Style. Prices are good, staff is friendly. Everything is made to order. The burger was delicious. Perfectly seasoned, fresh ground beef. Fiance's chocolate shake was freshly made and tasty too. I'll definitely be back for another burger, and I'll be sure to ask for fries. SECOND VISIT: Fantastic burger, fries were okay but slightly undercooked. I don't like floppy fries. Three stars for the fries, five for everything else.”

“This place was great! I'm a huge fan of hole in the wall restaurants/Mom and Pop shops that are simple and delicious. This is definitely one of those places. The owner is super sweet and has quite the personality. I've been trying to find a solid authentic Mexican restaurant for ages. I feel like a lot of them are catered to American tastes or the vegetarian food isn't that good. But this one was great! The Mexican coffee was to die for and I despise coffee. The owner asked us to try it and boy was I glad I did. At least now I know I can get a real caffeine kick somewhere, finally! They are still trying to get more people in post COVID. Please go and support their small business! The food is fantastic! Their homemade green hot sauce was amazing too!”

“Disappointed. The wings were overcooked, dry, and swimming in grease. They are ELEVEN DOLLARS PER POUND. That equals 6 to 7 wing segments. The dark parts of the wings were pieces that werent even edible, like hard cardboard. Celery and ranch is NOT included. Also got the curly fries. For some reason they had no salt, and def weren’t curly, lol. I have been on a quest for good wings in the area. This is now on top of the list for worst 😪”

The building is on the smaller size but plenty of seating with a couple of benches outside, too. The prices were great. Paid about $30 for 4 people, and we left FULL. Cookies were soft and yummy. Waitress was friendly and attentive. Mom and pop restaurant, you gotta try.”

“My friends and I have been coming here for years, before they even built out and used the spectacular rooftop that they have now. The server Erin has been with the bar for a long time and she is always super friendly, attentive, and very good at what she does. We love coming by just to visit her and catch up! Overall, this bar has the best ginormous pretzel that goes along with the best dips. It comes with queso, honey mustard, and their house-made beer cheese. It’s truly the best I ever had and everything else on their menu is tasty. I don’t think I’ve ever had anything that I didn’t like here. Other recommendations: the bone-in wings, cauliflower wings, and the alforno sandwich!😋”

Daily drink specials are offered. Menu selections include a variety of appetizers,salads,wraps,sandwiches,pizza and of course wings. We had to wait a little bit to find a table but as we looked around,everyone was having their wings. We ordered a pitcher of beer (Drink special of the day 12.00) and a basket of 20 wings with their own Birds Best Hot Sauce and an order of Cajun fries with cheese for dipping. Fries were not greasy but I wish the cheese sauce was warm and not cold. The wings had just the right amount of crisp and the sauce was not too hot ...just right! Good size and very meaty. They are the real deal! Plenty of street parking and an outdoor patio in the summer. If you want good wings in the city at a decent price,this is the place to go.”

“We brought our baseball team after a practice. Mind you these are 6 & 7 year old boys. They’re a little loud and all over the place. The staff there was so nice. They were so patient with all of us. Everything was perfect. Pizza was the best, per usual and the kids all enjoyed their slush drinks. We apologized for the team being a little rambunctious but they assured us that it was fine. “First time at Charly's and I can say that I'll be back. There are different burgers but I opted for the Charly's Burger. I'll work my way down the menu on return trips. The burger was tasty, fresh, lean and still juicy, the flavor was delicious, seasoned well. The bun was soft and excellent quality. I'm a sucker for grilled onions and these were done to perfection. The Charly sauce was a nice addition, complimented the flavors well without being overpowering. Hand cut fries were spectacular. The best about being here in the day after Valentine's Day was being able to sample the chocolate covered bacon strips dipped with pistachio bits. These. Were. Heavenly. The only drawback is that there is one counter to dine in and it was taken so I had to drive home. I think the fries would have been even better if I didn't have to drive home to eat - they got steamy in the take out container. Service was excellent and like I said, I'll be back.”

Good amount of beef juice in the bun but not toasted, missed opportunity there. No option to bake the cheese on which I am sometimes in the mood for. Real good onion rings, not drenched in oil. Yep, I would do it again, 6 inch was plenty.”
