“First the beans you can are old and nasty .I dont know what happened to this place first off the flour chips was burnt then the mild is now chunky salsa they should tell people before they order that they change the sauce, the food comes in Styrofoam and it melted right thur it....the food has so much pepper and chili power it was horrible have to throw the food away, 35 dollars worth, i was gonna take it back but it was close at 7.... and i been coming here for years and this was the worst, dont think i be back. And the reg chips was old also....”

In addition to our food being delicious, it was prepared quickly, & was reasonably priced for our surprisingly generous portions. This cozy little restaurant has a nice, clean, & quiet atmosphere with excellent service from a friendly staff. ... As a matter of fact, writing this review reminds me of the leftovers I have from Lum's waiting for me, so I need to wrap this up (pardon the pun, lol). “My first order from here—Orange Chicken. I ordered with Chicken Fried Rice. Chicken was tender. But, other than that—unfortunately I’m not impressed. The food was very bland. The rice didn’t have much flavor and I could barely taste any orange in the sauce or on the chicken. In my takeout container, there was about two tablespoons of sauce, hardly enough to spoon over the chicken. And, putting a few pieces of orange on top of rice in my order didn’t do anything to improve the rice. (That’s a kitchen trick that doesn’t work). The egg roll included with the dinner was also bland; the plum sauce helped a lot. Please improve the orange sauce—make the sauce taste like orange—and put more sauce in with orders. I ordered here on Christmas Day, when my preferred Chinese restaurant was closed.”

“By far the best donut shop around. We pass so many other donut shops on the way here from just east of the Telegraph and Ford Rd area. We've tried them all over the years, but this place beats them all. The honey crullers are my favorite, and the old fashioned sour cream/glazed type. The blueberry ones and the minis are great too! My kids love the chocolate glazed, creme filled ones, and any donut with sprinkles lol.”

“I’m giving them one star out of 5 because 1 out of 5 times is how often they make an even halfway decent pizza. Order a “normal” cooked pizza and the cheese is barely melted and the crust still tastes cold. Order it well done and you get a piece of cardboard. Order extra of anything on a pizza and you won’t get what you paid for. Walk in the door and your mere presence seems to annoy everyone who works there. Basically, if you want consistently poorly made pizza made by grumpy people, this Hungry Howie’s is your go-to. But for me, I’m done with this train wreck.”
