You could pick this place up and plunk it at the shoreline of Connecticut or Rhode Island near any Clam Shack from my childhood in the 60s and no one would bat an eyelash. I had a roast beef sub and a thick, sweet chocolate malt (made with real powdered malt, not the synthetic liquid stuff) and I was one happy camper. In fact, I was in San Diego for a week and managed to suck down several of their chocolate malts. Thank you for giving me a holiday experience I've craved for over 50 years now. I love you guys!!!”

They didn't give me the rice and beans, and they argued with me about it; and even after coming around and reading the sign, they still asked a superior if they could give them to me. They did, of course, but come on! Don't put carne asada fries on the list if you don't want people to eat it with rice and beans.”

“I can't believe I have missed this place and found it on Google with only *5 Star ratings. See picture with all the fresh burgers handmade in the refrigerator. They smash them up on the grill for each order. I got the Classic "All American '' Crispy burger and my brother in law had the "Cowboy Crispy burger". Both were fantastic. He had a chocolate shake with whip cream topping which was very good. The Onion rings I got with fries and both were really crispy. Only bad thing is there are no tables because of the City of Encinitas took them away. We ate on our tailgate truck but that was fun!”

“Great pizza and friendly service! This place is always busy and efficient. This place has been here for a long time, and the pizza is always great and made fresh! The space is small, but they have great teamwork and always help each other. I love the pizza here. The cheese doesn’t fall off after one or two bites, either! LoL and the sauce is not too much, but just right. One of my favorite pizza places, only thing I don’t like is the parking lot with foods for less and people just walking out from everywhere without even looking for cars before crossing in front of you 🙃”

They even have Adobada on the menu which you can’t always find. Also, the burritos are huge! Can’t beat their portions. Will be coming back here every time we’re in the area. Highly recommend!!!”

I know they have to pay the help and that thier expenses has raised but come on 20 bucks for a couple of small sandwiches cokes and bags of PLAIN chips. I was underwhelmed to say the least. What I had to do is to tell myself the twenty bucks was admission to the concert. The night of my most recent visit the Vulcan Mountain Boys were playing to a full house.”

That’s was a policy to pay first and then you get the code or whatever to use the restroom since when dine in restaurants require to pay fist anyway maybe new in California it wasn’t for me it was for my dad an 80 years old senior this is so disgusting form Veronica and Jack in the box and her partner. all we wanted was to have Jack in the box but I guess not. Don’t waste you r money IN & OUT 10 times better … I decided Instead to get IN & OUT best burgers freshly made fries very nice and cute people not like this Veronica w her ugly tone of voice and attitude to costumer I’m not having Jack form this location again ever”

“What a hidden gem! The tacos here were amazing. A little hole in the wall located in Rancho Bernardo, this little spot has a variety of beef tacos that hit the spot. The Cabeza taco was the most tender, fresh taco I've had of the the lot. The birria and lengua I would also highly recommend. The only disappointing taco was the carne, which came out cold.”
