“I can't speak for individual offices, I will say working for them is a nightmare. I was fired because they said I had excessive missed days and tardiness. I was told by the manager that 1-4 minutes she didn't consider late, not to mention I was trying to make my Dr appts during my lunch so that I wouldn't miss too much work, but as any veteran will tell you, the V.A do what they want and I can't always get my way when it comes to appointment times. Not to mention I'm a single father to children who just lost their mom who are also going through a lot. When I called to talk about it I was hung up on by the corporate office (maybe accidently) but I doubt it because I called back and they sent me to vm. Since I signed the aknowlegement I have not been tardy. I have had appts which I brought my Dr. Notes to prove where I was.”
