“Beautiful weather and beautiful scenery. Very clean and tidy toilet. I was able to use it - recommend for those particularly sensitive with toilet hygiene!”

“What a fantastic place to spend some time. We drove to the carpark at the end of the road, and walked up to the look out. The look out is only a easy five minute walk away. From the look out you have some great views out over part of the lake. We then walked down through some beautiful native bush to the lakes edge and spent some time admiring the quietness of the place. The only sounds that could be herd were from the ducks and geese. A nice stroll around part of the lake and we ended up at a very nice picnic area. The picnic area has some very big and interesting Japanese cedar trees. A short walk back to the carpark from the picnic area. Unfortunately there are no toilets near this picnic area. The toilets are located further down the road. Driving back out we noticed a fishing jetty, where you can try your luck at fly fishing although you will need a fresh water fishing license. Also there are mountain biking trails and horse ridding trails though the forest. Unfortunately we didn't have time to do the lake circuit walk but will hopefully come back some time.”
