Darien Lakes State Park
4.4
( 8 reviews )

10475 Harlow Rd, Darien Center, NY 14040, United States

“Really busy, but decent and clean campgrounds, no issues, they have a nice beach on a pond, that is also good for fishing, catch and release. Caught a nice bass and a few sunfish fishing for only about a half hour. Only disappointment is I think they need more bathrooms in certain areas and they could use a small general store.”

Kring Point State Park
4.8
( 8 reviews )

25950 Kring Point Rd, Redwood, NY 13679, United States

“Clean campground. Some maintenance items need attention. Several bulbs out in bathrooms. Fish cleaning stations not kept clean. Nice park overall. We've been there in both an RV and tent. Facilities are close to most sites. Workers all very pleasant and helpful. There's a recreation pavilion, but we've never seen any activities scheduled. Seems like a wasted building.”

Lawrence Farms Orchards
4
( 8 reviews )

306 Frozen Ridge Rd, Newburgh, NY 12550, United States

“The fields are absolutely beautiful. We had a great time picking apples (our favorites are the Granny Smiths 🍏) I wish the staff was more educated on service dogs as we were given a bit of a hard time on our way out, this made no sense to me because we were leaving. However, putting that aside, the experience is really nice. The farm is giant and sprawling. There are plenty of hidden nooks and crannies to explore while picking different kinds of fruits and veggies. Bring water because there isn't alot of shade and on the sunny days it gets hot fast!!”

Bog River Falls
4.8

I love the outside and waterfalls and this is great place. There's also a part you can swim at and it's very fun sliding down a rock into the water. The veiw is amazing!! You will love it at the bog and always worth the stop!”

“I have been on so many fishing trips and Fin Chaser II has been the best. Captain Keith explains all the rules and regulations before we take off. No words can express the experience on this boat. It has been an amazing experience. I have been on so many party boats coming back with one fish. This captain will make sure you come back with your limits and feed the family. Also I need to mention his mates Caroline and Jimmy are so helpful and knows there stuff. It has been a pleasure going out with these guys. Amazing crew!! No words can express the team . You have to experience the journey for yourself.”
