“This place is great! Has lots of open area! Enough people around for the right amount of dog socializing ! Lots of fun bridges, and walkways through the trees, leading to some wonderful waterside trails . Only 1 thing, if you plan to offleash, it is not fully fenced. But for the trained doggo 🐶 😏 no problem. Happy walking! …”

Highline Lake State Park

Open until 10:00 PM

1800 11 8/10 Rd, Loma, CO 81524, United States

“Great place for camping, fishing, boating, swimming, biking, hiking, and picnics. When we went, they had just treated the lake, so you couldn't fish, swim, boat, or let your dogs near the water. We did enjoy hiking the perimeter of the lake, and there are several other connecting trails in the area for hiking and biking. There's a great playground equipment set for the kids and a nice campground. There's something for everyone here!”

230 E Elkhorn Ave Unit B, Estes Park, CO 80517, United States

“I cannot say enough good things about booking a fly fishing excursion through Kirk’s. This was our third time booking through Kirk’s. Stephen was our guide this year. He did a fantastic job making sure we had lots of bites, catches and photos. We had so much fun and laughed so hard that the two times he needed to walk away, my husband immediately caught a fish. Such a great day!”

“Awesome place for camping and fishing. Choose between camping in a treeless campsite or a green-grass with electricity. Fishing is good here too. Lots of species to try and catch. Refer to the website for bait and those kind of info. Sunrise and sunset looks great from the dam.”

Manitou Lake

Open until 07:30 PM

CO-67, Colorado Springs, CO 80903, United States

“Definitely a great place to go!! Didn't know it closed at 5pm so that was a bummer, but I got 3 rainbow trout so I was happy!! I bought a parks pass with my vehicle registration and there was a maintenance youngster there who said he didn't think that covered the pass because it was a state park. Little windy at times but it is October. Took a hoodie off and on a few times. Awesome day!! Pink and silver spinner was my luck. Green glow live worms not a bite.. I caught and released so hopefully they get bigger!!”

5001 S Inca Dr, Englewood, CO 80110, United States

“Gorgeous park. Kid and dog friendly, no obvious signs of drug use. One can sit in the cool shade, hear birds and creek water. It's zen. There is a paved path for skateboarders, strollers, bicycles, roller skaters. I like to run up and down the random stairs I come across during my jogs. There are clean toilets, trash cans, picnic tables, pavilions. Its a great spot.”
