“Nice quiet camping spot! Spent 2 weeks enjoying the artisan wells with crystal clear water flowing from them. A clean and clear swimming spot to cool off when it's hot. Multiple fishing holes to sit back and relax. You will find amenities for horses along with trails to walk and explore. Not to be overlooked is the extremely friendly host staff and rangers always willing to answer questions and help out. I highly recommend this park!”

223 State Park Rd, Blackville, SC 29817, United States

“Beautiful state park built by the CCC in the 1930's. Needs work on the spillways. Campground road needs repaving. Campground needs anew bathhouse. More RV sites would be nice. We camped here twice this trip. Going south and returning north. Campground full on Saturday. A group of Scouts with their families put the primitive camping area to good use. It was great seeing families enjoying this park. On Tuesday and Wednesday just 6 to 8 campsites being used. November 7th and 8th.”

Lake Murray
4.7
( 8 reviews )

South Carolina, USA

“Love this lake. Lots of room for busy boating days. There are several waterfront places to eat, Marina's to fuel up, and ramps to put your boat in. Several campgrounds along the shoreline too. We stayed a week in a lake house in July and loved our stay. The water appeared to be pretty clean and well kept everywhere. There were several beachy sandy areas to pull up to and rest or cool off. We are from TN but the drive was well worth it. Great lake overall.”

Little Pee Dee State Park
4.4
( 8 reviews )

1298 State Park Rd, Dillon, SC 29536, United States

“We love staying at the state parks and this one didn’t disappoint. Well maintained sites a small trails I didn’t use the bath houses The ONLY complaint is all the lake front sites were “reserved” for our stay. Unfortunately well over half were no shows. I really think that state and national parks need to have a no show policy we run into this problem often”
