Took the trail to the left and followed to bridge which we crossed. Continued down trail until it T bones and made a left. Followed trail down until came to cabin on the right.”

“I like my local L.A. Fitness and the staff. Sadly, instead of fixing the racquetball courts, which is the main reason for my membership, it was said corporate recently changed one court into a pilates room and the other has yet to be fixed and it has been years. Where is the upkeep of the facility? Corporate needs to be in touch with what it's paying members want to retain us. One example is why they can't they keep good trainers (personal, yoga, zumba, etc.). I am always willing to chat if they want this member's input.”

During phone call I asked more details and she acted herself as she can't hear me and hang up the phone, I knew that she was perfectly listening to me! It was too rude for me! “This park reminds me of a developing and mini "High Line" that you'll see in NYC. Its cool usage for an abandoned rail line and as of right now looks pretty cool. Nothing much too see as of yet but its a cool spot to explore or if you need some green space, some quiet from Center City. There are a lot of homeless that do hang around here but from my experience, they really just try to find some peace and quiet and never bothered anyone. This park looks cool and hopefully they continue to add more to it. PROS: -Cool concept -Quiet, spacious, not far from the Center City/downtown area of Philly -Sort of low key and never really packed (as of now) CONS: -I have seen homeless around here but never felt sketchy. The homeless I have seen here tend to visit here to be left alone and get some peace and quiet. Usually reading, napping, etc. But if this is a concern for you, just proceed cautiously.”

“First time floater. If you are considering going, even a little, DO IT. The staff is amazing and friendly, they all just wanted to make sure we had a safe and good time. If we could have stayed longer we would have. It's beautiful and even when the water is at a lower level and you take the "shorter" run you get to float down twice so you still get the longer experience. Lots of wildlife and you can always scoot to one of the sides in the shade and enjoy the scenery while you relax. Thank you all so much!”

“Not particularly their fault..... It's just Everything is so scattered n Maze like. They're missing most of the equipment I use for my gym workout. Battle ropes are locked away. No chin up machine. Etc. Everything is outdated and worn heavily. Feels like a forgotten place that hasn't seen funding since 1980. I originally came here because my gyms pool is closed for maintenance and they have a running track... but... I'm very disappointed... I think I'll go to a different YMCA.... Once again. Not particularly their fault. No hard feelings against them. Just pointing out a few things”

Played yesterday, Nov 17th and you couldn't help but notice that all fairways, greens and tee boxes were without the usual Fall leaves. Never had to hunt for a ball all day. I play there weekly and use their great practice range at least one more time each week. And it's not just right around the corner for me. I make a half hour ride to get there, but it's well worth it.”

“Good place for families. Facility is clean. Staff and personal trainers are kind and helpful, although the place seems short-staffed. Circuit training room and free weight room can be miserable to work out in due to there not being enough machines and cages. The weight rooms are lousy with lunks who act like they own the place and do not respect the people around them (talking loudly, claiming equipment by putting bags on or near the seats, slamming weights…) Usually you can ignore these people but with how busy it has gotten, they have become unavoidable. It’s a fine facility especially if you have children but I will not be renewing my membership due to how crowded it has become and how intolerable the weight room environment is. There are other gyms in the area for the same price that more closely cater to my needs.”

We got there an hour before closing and it was still full price which was ~$35pp. Kids were pretty well behaved and considerate. Staff were as helpful as you expect teenagers to be. We'd love to go back but might need to wait for a coupon or something 😬”
