“Neat new venue for bouldering in South Wales. Nice large centre with plenty of parking. Small gearshop and coffee shop. Great bouldering walls and gym area with machines and small selection of weights. Couple of overhanging training boards and if the bouldering doesn't wear you out there are also auto belays with a dozen or so small routes. All in all one of the better walls I've been to.”

“Played here for the first time on Monday in dry and pretty good weather. I thought the course, grass and views were stunning. Nice width to most of the holes and some long ones too. I thought it was good value and can’t wait to come back. The food in the clubhouse was very good too.”

“Played in their senior open pairs competition. The course was well presented and some really nice looking holes. Not knowing the course meant we often played a different club or line of play. It put pressure on your game but that was to be expected. Looking back from tees you could see where to play next time. Something we will do. Playing with a partner and off the yellows made it enjoyable as you or your partner could score and keep the card going. After the round it was nice to be served by staff for food and drink before heading home. The course is easily accessible from Chester side. Prior to playing we made use of the short game area, bunkers, nets, pitching chipping area and a small driving range. The quality of this area was fanstatic and I enjoyed half hour on here before teeing off, next time I'll get on here hour before. From the practice ground to the putting green, five minutes and your off. A great opening par 5 hole to start and it gets better as you go round. I think index one was the best but the hole before par five was the worst for the eyeline. Still a good hole, it was more awkward! That said highly recommend this course to play.”

“Serious issues with the Health and Safety of the site. Main area and access to is so under inflated that my 11 year old is touching the floor. This leaves a concrete wall exposed and uncovers corners. When confronting a manager they advise, yeah we know about it. Large fans left exposed at the end with no barriers. Every aspect of this place is a short cut to a quick buck and corners cut. Open less than a week and the maze was shut, large rips at the joins. Have pictures to show how unsafe and under inflated this place was. Death trap which needs resolvong ASAP.”

“Really lovely swimming pool. Clean changing rooms and facilities. Friendly staff. Only thing lacking are signs in the exterior walls with arrows pointing to the entrance. If you are a visitor and walking there from the Promenade or Great Orme direction, you will walk round the entire building before finding the way in!”

“Wow! There must've been about 50-60 birds when feeding started. Not just red kites, but buzzards and crows too. You definitely want to arrive early. We visited outside of the school holidays and the car park only had a couple of spaces left with 30 minutes to go before feeding time. Once the car park is full, that's it.”

“Went here the other day, steam room etc was closed due to grouting work being carried out. Gym equipment was quite ok, fairly clean, has blue roll and spray to clean the equipment down. Male changing rooms have an issue with open drains, wafts of raw sewage smell coming up through the drains- I suspect the water in the trap has either evaporated or just a poor design. 1 private shower and 3 or 4 communal showers, are we still in the 80s? Overall an average experience.”
