“My Daughter recently took up skateboarding and she found this place online, we started of with 1-2-1 lesson priced at £30 per session. Absolute bargain considering the time and effort spent by chris (the instructor) We now are regulars on a Monday night 7-8 in the beginners class (lead by instructor chris) gain bargain at just £9 this by far the safest way for your children to learn the skills needed to improve and gain confidence especially when unfortunately our local skate park is often over run with older kids using the area as a party zone making it difficult to use. the staff on the desk are fantastic also for information (zack) can never do enough when it comes to questions, They even have a shop and also now a cafe perfect place and very happy with the service they provide for such little money”

“I've been using this centre for years since it used to be on mason road. I've never experienced such a behaviour and attitude from an individual anywhere. The individual is the manager of the centre as per the staff however he has absolutely no quality of a leader or of a manager. Rather then helping the clients and assist them with the best of his ability (which is missing in him) he blatantly refuses. The most recent experience of mine with him was today when I asked him if he can give me change for a tenner as needed for the vending machine and for the locker but he refused it blatantly whereas the other staff had helped in past by providing change. He absolutely doesn't have the skill to help their customers.”

“It's an OK gym, and the staff were very friendly. However, the lighting in the car park at night is very poor and I did not feel safe. Also, they have a daily booking system for the classes which starts at 7am. For example, if I want to book a class for next Sunday I have to ensure I get up at 7am the Sunday before to book it on the app. Personally this did not work for me due to my work schedule, and I found certain classes (i.e. Body Pump) are extremely popular and all the spots get taken quickly i.e. even when I logged in at 08.30am on the app. You sort of have to plan your life around this gym, and get up every day at 7am to book your classes so I cancelled my membership as I need something more flexible.”

“I visited PureGym Birmingham during my trip to the city, and I have to say it was a disappointing experience. The atmosphere in this branch was quite unpleasant, with disrespectful users, abandoned equipment (even a pile of weights in a corner), and bottles scattered everywhere. Additionally, a significant number of lockers were broken. Despite these challenges, we managed to complete our workout. However, if our local PureGym resembled this one, we would seriously consider switching to a competitor. It was difficult to take pictures without exposing users and preserve their privacy , but attached are a few pictures as a small example of what we found (there was way more)”

“Can't get enough of this place ! Staff 100% friendly always willing to help and chat. The gym is clean and plenty of machines to choose from. However unbearable during summer or hot days as they have no air conditioning inside and reply on wind outside to be channeled in via air duct. Not sure how long it'll last now that BCC have gone bust. So forget about the a/c ever getting fixed. Just as well they got equipment in on time😙”

“These guys are a joke. Spoke to them multiple times while I was a member about the pool area not being cleaned. There was a dirty plaster on the floor by the hot tub for 3 weeks, mould in the sauna and mould in the showers. I spoke to them about various other issues at the gym including dangerous equipment and other hygiene issues. I also emailed them multiple times and not once received a reply or a call. The next email I received was to say that they were increasing my membership by £2 a month. So I decided to cancel my membership immediately. I done this online and told them I’m not paying anymore money and to call me to discuss the issues. All I got was a generic email to say my membership was cancelled but I had to give 30 days notice as per contract. I’m pretty sure I didn’t sign up for a dirty gym and a potential staph infection. Not to mention the 2 massive verrucas I’ve had since being a member. I cancelled my direct debit and I’m still waiting for someone to contact me as I refuse to pay for such a disgusting gym. Please note that I can legally cancel my contract under the consumer rights act 2015 due to unfair terms for multiple reasons so good luck getting anymore money out of me. To anyone that’s thinking of joining here I would think twice.”

“First time here and I must say I am so impressed. I moved over from tudor Grange which is not a nice place at all. Such a dirty place and the staff are so rude. Lack of groups, I could go on. But this place is like night and day in contrast. Lovely staff, so polite and helpful. It's super clean and spacious. The pool is heated and has a jacuzzi, steam and sauna rooms all on the same level. Showers are spacious and have wash gel in there. The hairdryers are powerful and there is even hair straighteners. The changing rooms are really spacious as are the lockers. An excellent experience has now made me want to return.”
