“Wow! What a beautiful and overwhelming experience to feel like you stepped back in time to one of the most amazing old-fashioned, general stores! We went a little crazy in there! Loved how they have groceries, prepared frozen food items, a deli, dozens of old-fashioned, hard-to-find candies and treats, home decor, furniture, personal care items, seasonal decorations, clothing, sports, hunting items, old-fashioned toys, gifts/novelty items and a museum too! I can’t believe it took us so many years to finally go there! How much can they contain in a beautiful, converted, red and White House?! We can’t wait to go back and take the whole family!”

“I normally don’t complete these requests, however Lakes Floral went above and beyond for myself and 8 of my neighbors recently. So, I feel the need to share our experience. One of our neighbors was taken to the hospital and had an extensive emergency surgery. She was in ICU after surgery. Then scheduled to be moved to Room 349 the next day. Nine of us neighbors went together to send her a floral bouquet from Lakes Floral. We were told that they would deliver it the following day. When the delivery arrived at the hospital, the driver was told the recipient was still in ICU and they couldn’t accept the flowers. Lakes Floral contacted me and said I should let them know once our friend was actually moved to her regular hospital room and they would go back with the bouquet for her. Sadly, several days went by and she was never moved out of ICU, only because there were no available open rooms. Finally, after one week in ICU she was discharged. When I called Lakes Floral to let them know she was home. They offered to deliver a new fresh bouquet to her home at no extra charge. I am attaching a photo of the original bouquet as well as the replacement bouquet. They are both equally beautiful. Thank you to Lakes Floral for going the extra mile.”

“I almost hate to give it a high rating because it’s crowded but not so much as the other ones I’ve been to, and you can always get what you need and checked out in a good time despite the small size. They keep it very well stocked they are very up on their deliveries and ordering obviously, always friendly employees that aren’t so overly friendly that you want to avoid them haha. We love this store and the flowers, frozen and fresh vegetable selection and prices. I don’t know how they consistently keep prices at a decent place but this store is a real gem.”

“What a cool and eclectic store, you can definitely tell it’s privately owned and operated. It has standard pricing for being an independent with aggressive sales and in store bonus buys. Shopping experience was crowded and tight mostly due to all the other customers in the store, What a busy place! Cleanliness and organization could be improved but customers don’t seem to mind. Bakery was my standout department for aesthetics but the deli, prepared foods, and meat department does some seriously business. “Visited Das Peach Haus with a couple of girlfriends and we had a FANTASTIC experience. We tried a couple of different wines but we all loved the Hill Country Peach wine. The ambience was relaxing and we could've stayed here all evening (they close at 6pm on Saturdays). The decor, inside and outside, was a festive fall and provided plenty of photo opportunities. On my way out of the store, I came across pralines that resembled the ones that my grandmother used to make when I was a kid; hoping to be filled with nostalgia, I bought four. I was NOT disappointed. One bite into the praline and I was transported to Granny's kitchen. Granny's been gone for almost 17 years now and I never thought I'd find a praline that came close to hers, but I did here. Thank you Das Peach Haus for both of these experiences. My only regrets are not having brought wine to bring home with me (can't bring them through TSA) and not having bought more pralines!”

“i was excited to visit as i had seen from previous reviews that it is a great overall nursery and then i had heard that they tend to decorate a bit for the holidays and then my family and i became extremely excited to visit. be aware that the parking situation is limited and they do have a back up parking lot but it was packed when we went so we would advise planning some extra time for that. otherwise, i think it's a very nice visit to spend a little time walking around and appreciating some of the many plants and other stuff to look at. we didn't purchase anything but i'm sure we will return to get a house plant of some kind because the prices were fair and the plants themselves looked great and well maintained.”
