“Went here for a weekday lunch right on opening. On arrival the shop was a little late to open and not quite ready for service, but only by a 5 minutes. No big deal. The worker was very friendly and accomodating. Very informative and proud of his work. The restaurant was quiet due to the early hour. I ordered a mix of items including fish, chips, squid and sauces. The seafood was very nice and the chips had the real “chippy” quality that can be hard to find. They might have even been hand-cut? Look, there’s a lot of hype about this restaurant, and for the service, I think it’s warranted. Regarding the food, yes, it’s good, but I don’t know if it’s worth going well out of your way for. Though there’s some horrible fish and chip shops in Perth, I think many suburbs will have a comparable (or in very few cases better) fish and chip shop close by.”

“CIAO AMORE The most perfect plate of hand cut truffle carbonara. Possibly the best pasta l've ever had, Italy included. A loved local fave, have you tried this moorish wonder?! I have several times! Pizzas are superb too! I’ve had them dine in and takeaway, delivery options are also available. Only downside is that EVERYONE loves this place so bookings are essential. Call early for your pizza pickups or delivery, you’ll be so glad you did. They do not disappoint!!”

“What is with pies in the south west. Just visited another bakery in Dardanup which serves good size fresh and delicious pies. In this case it was the Jalapeno hotty and a Kangaroo and Guiness. Go figure. They were delicious and the better half puts the spicy one in her top few. These are chock full of tender meat chunks and a delicious gravy which does not disappoint. You are going to pay a little more but it is just worth it....”
