We spent New Year’s Day there for a couple hours, cute place still decorated for Christmas, they had someone there playing live music that was a good listen. We will be back - really liked the laid back atmosphere, great staff, the food truck they have on site was also REALLY GOOD, and it was a great time overall. Parking wasn’t bad, we found a spot, and the place felt clean.”

“I heard about this place having the best Cuban food in the Tampa area so I gave it a go. I can see why this place is beloved by the residents of Ybor, very small and tucked away with a diverse menu. Bring your readers though because the font on the menu is no bigger than 12 pt. I don’t think I enjoy Cuban sandwiches after my experience here. The pulled pork on the Cuban was very dry and made it hard to eat. I asked for extra mustard which definitely helped, there should have been more pickles for my taste. The maduros were some of the best I’ve had, very sweet and juicy. There was plenty of seating on a Saturday and the staff was very attentive and accommodating. The meal I had was less than $20 so for that value it gets 4 stars. In reality it’s more of a 3.5 IMO.”

“We chose the New Year's dinner, and I must commend the impeccable service. However, this restaurant seems to prioritize presentation over substance. The shrimp tempura had an excessively thick coating, and the sauce, reminiscent of fast food, made it overly oily. The halibut was both dry and tough likely due to overcooking with a noticeable fishy taste. The duck breast, much like the steamed fish, showcased a culinary misstep by employing a steak-grilling technique, making it challenging to swallow. Regarding the grilled steak, it was of average quality, meeting the typical standard found in most restaurants. The highlight of the fixed New Year's menu was the chocolate dessert – exquisitely refined and utterly delightful. $150 per person before tax and service fee, yet with a comparable expense at other restaurants, we've enjoyed significantly better culinary experiences.”

“Buccan slays as usual. Honestly there's no point in writing reviews for this place, it's always awesome and I feel like everyone already knows it. I love how they keep the classic dishes on the menu and add new ones seasonally. I love how the kitchen always keeps the flavors and textures bright and exciting, visit after visit. This time I tried the sweet corn agnolotti and it was INSANE, I highly recommend. It is loud here and definitely it's a scene spot, but the service is always warm and welcoming. Put this spot on your list, it's a must.”

“Worth stopping in for. Good quality, tasty food. Nice service. Unique look and feel, and even some unique dishes. Never expected a poke bowl place to have BBQ pork, but it was actually fantastic! They also have acai bowls. Some unique Hawaiian drinks available. The children's dishes are actually very affordable. Pretty clean, but felt like it could be wiped down some more. Tables are pretty, made from natural wood. Walls and decor are unique. I am not a huge fan of the 50-Mills area; I find it all a bit hipster and often overpriced. This place is a nice exception. Utilize the large parking spot behind the building and take the back door if possible because parking off 50 is difficult and stressful. A bit pricey for what you get overall, but that's everything these days.”
