“Not the first visit to this excellent restaurant and, as previously, we throughly enjoyed their wonderful, genuinely Italian, food. Their Carbonara was perfectly prepared thankfully without cream producing a rich delicious sauce. My friend is vegetarian and was delighted with a delicious pizza from the Carte de Jour named Pizza Pépé. The staff were friendly and had a real understanding of the menu and wine list. The Rum Baba was truly delicious.”

“We had the full dinner for two which included two glasses of champagne, two appetizers, two entrees, two desserts, a bottle of wine and coffee. Each course was delicious, but we particularly enjoyed the avocado and bacon app, the duck, and the house dessert (sponge cake with pears, caramel sauce and whipped cream). The owner took individual attention to each table making everyone feel like welcome guests . His wine recommendation was spot on! I highly recommend dining at this restaurant.”

Food: The three-course dinner included a pre-starter, as well as a small snack after we finished our dessert. The concept of every dish was well thought-out. It was innovative, and the flavours of each component matched each other incredibly well. The intricate plating on each item served to us created a feast for the eyes as well. As we progressed through the three-course menu, each dish complemented each other and was not overwhelming at all. The overall amount of food was also just nice. Service: The team that served us that night could not be any better. They were fast, attentive and incredibly friendly. The staff spoke English well, explaining each component of the dishes as they were served. They also recommended us local wine from Bordeaux, which was delicious by itself and also complemented the food extremely well.”

“Another place with only 5* reviews and, having just eaten there, I now know why. It only opened this July as a family business providing sensibly priced, Asian inspired dishes in a relaxed atmosphere, every evening, right on the beach. During the day it's a fabulous beach bar with a good range of drinks, also at reasonable prices, and an eclectic mix of loungers, cushions, chairs and... pallets on beach mats - very creative! A fabulous place which thoroughly deserves all the 5* reviews and one not to miss.”
