“Very solid restaurant overall, especially recommended for meat lovers (but not only). We tried brisket and turkey as mains. Brisket was definitely more flavorful than turkey. I felt like the turkey was just okay- not super great but also not too bad, lacking salt for me. What I really really liked were burned brisket ends, garlic mashed potatoes (buttery soft and packed with garlic flavor), meaty bbq beans and pecan pie! For people who aren’t huge on meat I would recommend skipping the “main” dishes and ordering large sides and dessert. We were there on a Sunday night- not a single empty table, and the space is rather small w tables close to each other, so prepare to raise your voice if you really want to have a conversation.”

The service was attentive and friendly throughout. We enjoyed the Caterpillar Roll, Seafood Bento, King Ku Sliders, and Mame Choco for dessert. The Seafood Bento impressed with its variety and meticulous attention to each item. The King Ku Sliders were very juicy and delicious. Located in the Utrechtsestraat, the restaurant boasts a pleasant atmosphere. It's genuinely a fantastic Japanese restaurant with a welcoming ambiance.”

“We managed to catch the cheese market in September (every Friday 10am-1pm until end of Sept). We learnt a lot about Gouda cheese and the historical trading of cheese. You can experience the weight by the end of the session, it’s 1€ per person. The pancake stall beside the market (phot no.5)is delicious. €6 with two toppings.”
