“I spent most of my days in the southern part of India and since then I was and still a fan of South Indian food. This place took me back to Chennai and Kerala. Awesome in taste, authentic. To start just have rasam , curd and papad ( it’s heavenly) I actually spoke to the chef Vishnu and took the recipe for Rasam. Everything they serve is tasty. Service time is very good and staff so polite. Great place”

“The place has a beautiful ambience with nice decorations and extra large glass windows. The first time I visited this place, we loved all the items that we ordered, especially the egg bacon salad. The service was awesome, with the waiter who was serving our table was very polite and professional. The order arrived very quickly, too. We loved the food so much that we visited the place again in less than one month. And this time the egg bacon salad was not like what we tasted the first time. The sauce-drenched thing was poor in quality and taste to put it as politely as possible. The service was also a bit slack. The other dishes we ordered also lacked the wow factor. Hence, one star short of 5 stars. The place also has a hookah corner besides a bar, for whoever is interested. Another good point about the place is, it has an elevator, so not a problem for the elderly guests. Despite my second time experience with the place, I will recommend visiting this cafe. Try an evening visit ; you might catch a spectacular sunset. Must try items are butter chicken nan tacos, overloaded chicken quissidela and cheese mushroom balls. We also liked cheese chicken nachos.”

The normal food is homely and tasty. Rooms, dining area and the kitchen is very clean and well maintained. You can speak to the owners directly in case you need any assistance. Highly recommended.”

“Surrounded by fields on all sides, the first thing that strikes you is the silence and then, the birds chirping. An idyllic destination. The duplex mud huts have AC, modern attached toilets, kettle, toiletries. The top room even has a terrace. Winding pathways, a large lake in the middle, little green hedges, a play area for children! If space among greenery is your priority, then this is perfect. The AC dining room is huge. Excellent Bengali food. Good Chinese too Service is impeccable. There's space for parking cars.”

“I went there with a lot of expectations and excitement, but i was really disappointed. First of all the food was pretty pretty average for the price they are charging and the portions are also very less. Yes i understand its a 5star hotel and things will be pricey, but neither the quality nor the quantity was upto the mark. If you are charging so much please increase the quantity and to be very honest I have had much better pork ribs and lobster in Kolkata. The ambience or interior was also pretty average. For such a high end resteraurnt the entire dining area looked very bland and old designed. The interrior should be much better. The only good thing was the bakery counter in the ground floor. The cakes were amazing 😍😍. Overall i wouldn't recommend this resteraurnt for Chinese cuisine in Kolkata unless they better themselves. There are many other options like Asia Kitchen available for fine dining with Chinese cuisine.”

“Out of all the places, pubs and night life, most probably this this is the only place where you can feel the true essence of a nice life in Kolkata. Makati Kolkata one of the most costliest and rightly hyped pub. We had a uncertain plan, went and it was 2000Rs per person entry. It was different billing system. We were 3, 6k came down to 5k after negotiating & we can have anything of 5k inside, the only problem is the rest unused amount is not refundable and if we eat more, rest exceeded amount would require additional payment. Everything about this place is enjoyable, specially the music. Highly recommended place for enjoying remixes Hindi to English to Bengali or what not! Never enjoyed crossovers this much. We were really stunned to experience this vibe and excited to see if we can actually make a bill close to 5k but my-oh-my the price of beers, alcohol and everything frankly were off the charts! Corona-₹720 Budweiser premium-₹360. Unbelievably overpriced! Food- mix Hakka noodles, mutton pizza, Nilgiri chicken ranges between ₹400-700 each. My last trip costed less then this one night! Recommended only if have some occasion that you want to make remarkable! We asked for a small cake they provided a half pound butterscotch. Excellent 👌 cake and the waiter even took no money for the cake. Liked that act of him as well as his concern for cleaning up the table, taking away the empty bottles , strays.”

“good place to dine. ample parking space available nearby. food quality is excellent. we enjoyed bamboo mutton biriyani. rustam kebab was new to us, taste wise good. lava gost mutton was spectacular but it tasted like raw mutton. shahi kheer was lacking sweetness. overall experience is very good. nice ambience, good staff behaviour. sure to visit again very soon to try more varieties.”
