“Very nice hut with traditional good food. The atmosphere is very nice. We had a hike from Filzmoos, which took us 1h45 to get there ( in Winter). It was a nice hike through the forest with a beautiful mointain view. In the winter there is a lot of snow, so be prepared for this. You can also get there via horse coaches/sled or a taxi.”

“The service was nice. Sadly we had to wait quite some time for a simple order even though the place was not nearly full but that was okay. The milkshake was amazing. The chicken wings were nice but super salty imho. The basic burger was alright but nothing special. I found it to be quite expensive when compared to other places in the centre of Salzburg. The amount of meat in the burger is good yes, but the taste was not better than Burgerista in city centre where one can get a double cheese burger for a lower price even. The style and atmosphere are cool, I wish them good luck in the future and can definitely imagine going again”

“I am visiting Salzburg alone. It was a hard decision to decide where to have dinner. Luckily this place was close to where I was staying and based on good reviews visited it to have their Margarita pizza. The size was appropriate, dough was thin and very well cooked, tomato sauce and cheese had individual beautiful tastes and the fresh herbs on top of that just added texture, flavour and complexity to the pizza. The service is amazing, people speak multiple languages, it's a cozy atmosphere, music is good, prices are appropriate when I compare them with other restaurants in the locality. The only regret I have is that it is far away from where I live and I'll have to travel to Salzburg again to have it.”

“It is one of my favourite places in the area. It is a great place to come by for a puse during your skiing day and have a nice drink and very good food. The last time I went there 3 times in one week and it was always very busy but good. If you are more than two people, you should definitely make a reservation. I tried out different dishes and drinks and everything was very good. I can highly recommend the chicken and the beef tartar, which are super fresh and delicious. Also the service is fast and nice and the ambience is just amazing. Love it.”

“Wonderful Sunday Lunch. Highly recommend the beef and onions. Absolutely delicious - real comfort food. We saw a lot of other dishes and they all looked really good. We also shared the desert Kaiserschmarrm which was the best we have had in Salzburg. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was warm and relaxing. “Great find for us while in Salzburg. High quality food. We ordered burger 44s, organic chicken curry and for myself a healthy bowl (summer bowl). Tasted excellent. We finished everything 😄. Service was excellent. Everyone was very courteous. Food came to the table in good time - didn’t have to wait too long. 5 star for everything. Green tea at the end made it even better. Staff/server and the manager all were superb.”

“A very local place outside the city buzz, a 10 min walk from where I was staying, in the outskirts of the city of Salzburg, near the Untersberg mountain. Make sure to reserve before hand, since it’s only open on specific days and sometimes have private events. I had to try their specialty, the owner recommended the stuffed schnitzel, pork is usually way to salty for my taste but the dish was absolutely delicious, washed down with a Radler. Quite a good portion, still went for a desert though could only eat a few bites, only to say I have tried the local desert, the Kaiserschamarrn, basically scrambled pancake with raisins.”

“Lärchenhütte offers the perfect combination of food and scenery (smell, sight and sounds). Our drive experience up to this moutain-top restaurant was amazing and we saw grazing cows in the beautiful Austrian country areas. Not only does the restaurant offers an fabulous lunch, it also serves up a beautiful view of the landscape below as well as a nearby farm with adorable farm animals. Warning though. You have to pay 4 euro to drive up. Must be EXACT change, coins only.”
