“What a cool place with exceptionally good sandwiches. It reminds you of an old timey place, in a very good way. It has the nastalgic deli, supermarket, feel about it. Everyone working and even the customers where all super friendly. The place is impeccably clean, and places to set and eat inside or outside (covered umbrella's). My lord, do they pike the meat on. The bread is delivered fresh daily, they have 12 very unique dressings / sandwhich spreads (check the photos out for sauce list. Check out the Pic of the refrigerator where you check out, it's stocked full of tall boys from local brewers (I.E. 4hands, citywide, vacation dad, etc....).”

“I ate an entire chocolate chip cookie all by myself. That statement is enough as my review. I am not a sweets eater. I prefer savory things like cheese and salty chips. We were on historic Saint Charles Main Street for the pumpkin glow. We stopped into grandmas cookies where there was a huge line. I was annoyed at the line but omg was it ever worth it!”

“I've been trying various donut shops in the area over the last few months. I decided to give John's a try this past Saturday. I was blown away at the selection, one of the largest out of the shops I've been to. The guy who helped me was super friendly. I especially enjoyed the glazed pretzel, raisin square, apple fritter, lemon cake, and the cake donut topped with chocolate and coconut. I'm an early riser, and it was awesome that they were open at 4am. I think I was the second one there. The donuts were fresh and delicious. They're be part of my rotation now, and I look forward to future visits. I highly recommend John's Donuts!”

“We had a delicious dinner at Ventana. We live out of town and we’re here on a vacation, and we remembered how good it was the last time we visited here. Emma was our server and she took great care of us and made some good suggestions. We had their 16 oz. Prime rib with loaded mashed potatoes, the wedge salad, and the homemade chicken Alfredo with Cajun seasoning. Both were delicious and we left completely stuffed. We also had their white wine sangria which was delicious. We highly recommend!”

“THIS restaurant is a SPECIAL hidden gem in St. Clair Mo....the food here is MAGNIFICENT. I had the Shrimp Chimichanga with Guacamole Dip and it was absolutely DELICIOUS. The wait staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was wonderful. I will always come back here when I'm in this neck of the woods.”

“Buyer beware!!!!! The rib dinner meal is listed as $22 but when we got the bill it was $44. The food was decent but they were out of half of it so ribs were one of the only options. The manager refused to correct it even after we showed her the menu with the price we ordered from. She said it just is what it is. Then she was super unprofessional talking trash with other customers because we were upset. Our server was amazing so it sucked to end our experience that way.”
