“Went here for a weekday lunch right on opening. On arrival the shop was a little late to open and not quite ready for service, but only by a 5 minutes. No big deal. The worker was very friendly and accomodating. Very informative and proud of his work. The restaurant was quiet due to the early hour. I ordered a mix of items including fish, chips, squid and sauces. The seafood was very nice and the chips had the real “chippy” quality that can be hard to find. They might have even been hand-cut? Look, there’s a lot of hype about this restaurant, and for the service, I think it’s warranted. Regarding the food, yes, it’s good, but I don’t know if it’s worth going well out of your way for. Though there’s some horrible fish and chip shops in Perth, I think many suburbs will have a comparable (or in very few cases better) fish and chip shop close by.”

“The atmosphere was good, the food was okay. Not quite to my taste, however okay. The Kingfish has a weird after taste that hits the back of your throat… as you swallow. I thought it was just me, however the wife has the same thought. Presentation is awesome, taste, not so much. I wouldn’t order that again. The prawns… big tasty, but only three, not a little sprinkling of salad, nothing just three big prawns 🦐 tasted great, sauce was good, lacked a bit of presentation. The potato gems.. good. Not being a big fan of marty sauce it was great to see they had the other sauce I could use. The Korean chicken 🍗 nice little side salad, presentation was good, the actual chicken was cooked to perfection. Beautiful and moist, a little too spicy for my liking, however that chicken was great.”

“Even on a 41 degrees day, my meal was so delicious. Friendly staff, food came out within about 6 minutes. Best American type burger I've had here in Australia. Plenty of US sodas to choose from. I got the Cheezy - E burger. It was delicious. The meat tastes like it is caremilsed on the outside which makes it extremely tasty. The pickles were the best and the potato bun - delicious. The loaded fries were a massive serve and were very well seasoned. I loved the taste of the American cheese on the fries. I'll be visiting again.”

“The Apple Strudel here is brilliant - the mini one also. But I would say that’s it. I have tried a few other items from here - generally been a hit and miss. Some are good - some not so much. I had a Honey cake from here last week and it was quite dry. Would still give a 4 stars because the Strudel is simply that good.”

“Definitely have to book in advance. Attentive and quick service through out. The wagyu's natural flavour was perfect on its own and was buttery thanks to the marbling. Also tried the cod, which was delicious; served with a salty sauce and orange. Yam chips made for a good start and yuzu ice cream capped things off nicely. 🤤”
