“Great value for a pizza, new year sale prices made us pop in for lunch today. The milkshakes are still the best I have had in any UK restaurant. Lovely view out of the window of the cathedral. Staff were very friendly and checked in on us a few times. The garlic dip was great to dip the crusts into.”

“What a fantastic pub this is!! Visited with my family for a Sunday Roast for my girlfriend's birthday. Staff were all lovely and attentive! Food was great. Atmosphere was ideal for a cold, winter Sunday. And may I make note that it was so refreshing to see the owners speaking to and treating the staff well. Rubs off on customers well - and is a fundamental basic that far too many other establishments get wrong. Lamb shank was great!! Sunday roast was slightly small but very tasty. Will be back again soon, thanks for looking after us guys.”
