“TINY kingcakes this year. The medium is about half of the size it was last year and it was thin. It was $18.75 before tax. I regularly buy kingcakes from Haydels during the Mardi Gras season. I considered theirs to be the best. For the past several years I have ordered 8 kingcakes to bring to friends in Florida when we would go on vacation. Not this year. Inflation or not, this is not a good deal. Haydel's, prove me wrong.”

“Never expected to have legit Greek food in the suburbs of Louisiana. The service was also really good, my water was never empty. The food was tasty. We loved the gyro 🥙 and the grape leaves 🍇🌿. Food came out fast. When we arrived at 4pm there was only 1 table but within 30 minutes the dining room was full of people.”

I loved their baba ganoush, loved the bread, loved the lamb skewers... everything was just amazing. Definitely recommend. Update: I ordered take-out, I couldn't forget this place 🤤 I ordered the lamb chops, which came with a side of tasty hummus, salad, and rice. The lamb chops were perfectly cooked. They were tender and seasoned well. So good. Of course I had to get my favorite, baba ganoush & baklava! Everything was fantastic 🤤 This is officially one of my favorite restaurants ❤️”

“Don't skip the salt and pepper shrimp (served with garlic butter on the side as suggested by the server), or the super crispy chicken wings (with your choice of sauce, we chose lemongrass). The grilled pork rolls were a win, but I'd leave the tofu bun next time and probably go for pho instead. Prices weren't cheap but were absolutely fair for the fresh, abundant portions. Would absolutely return!”

“I ordered take out here. The service was nice and quick. The food came out super fast. The food looks nice, as you can see in the pics. But lacks flavor in my opinion. Also not authentic flavors. Shrimp and chicken had zero seasoning, just grilled. Bò lúc lắc was mediocre at best. Portions are small compared to other vietnamese restaurants. Overall not bad, but not impressed either. I've eaten here many years ago when they opened and it was pretty good. If you're looking for a quick bite, it's fine. But not if you want authentic & flavorful vietnamese food. Great place, just not for me. It fell short of my expectations of the great flavors vietnamese food has to offer. 3 stars for food and 5 stars for everything else.”

“This spot is the only kosher option in New Orleans, and usually that’s grounds for sucking, but this place is awesome! Firstly, they have Kosher groceries. Everything you need to make a Shabbos as a traveler, from Challah, to candles, wine and take out food. They have importered chocolates, rugelach etc. Their take-out food is super tasty! We ordered the white fish with bagels, good stuff. We also got the jimbalaya, the po boy sandwich, and the classic pastrami sandwich. It was nice to have a little taste of Nola but it was also great to have classic deli as well. Also the staff is so nice and friendly and helpful. We’ll be back!”

“My bff told me about this restaurant. I have been here twice and have been highly satisfied both times. I have tried many options here and all are good; from the soups to the noodles. Employees are attentive. Food is loaded with flavor and prices are reasonable. There are large tables if one is dining with a large party; gratuity is added to large parties. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant. The best in Kenner/ Metairie!”
