“One of the Best Mexican restaurant in Laredo & very affordable! Sure, it’s a small restaurant with limited space to dine in but the food & quality are always on point. Not to mention the huge portion of food you get. There are plenty popular choices for breakfast, lunch & dinner plates & they look just as good the pictures hanging throughout the store. They also have daily breakfast & dinner plate specials, prices on those are unbeatable. We love coming to this place for breakfast & dinner when we can & it’s always an amazing experience. Can’t recommend it enough!”

“Food and service was amazing! First time visiting for our anniversary dinner and we were amazed with the place . Chipotle chicken pasta is amazing . The wine was very good , I’ve never drank wine before and I loved it . Our waiter was very well mannered and just detail to mannerisms added to the experience in this restaurant. All though very packed , he did an amazing job attending us.”

“In a shady looking plaza that is in bad need of repairs! Saw a drug sale go down too once. The restaurant used to be La Carreta and still has much of the rustic western decor but is not kept up to the same standards. The food is reasonably priced and tastes good. I have been here 3 times and have ordered something different each time. Every time it tasted really good. The salsas are tasty and not too pica which is an issue with Laredo restaurants. The chips are oversized and a bit awkward but tasty.”

“after so many years i can honestly say this is the best bakery in town. i remember as a kid being brought here with my grandparents to sweetbread for the morning cup of coffee. the pan dulce still taste the same and is always fresh. i would also like to mention the friendly service that is a big part of this establishment. I highly recommend the cheese danish,the rocks(piedritas) and the barras de chocolate. Really anything you pick will be good. Thank you for all the years of service to Laredo.”

“This place is a hit or miss. The service was very good. There were three other tables and three different waiters came in and asked in everything was ok. Food portions are very generous. I tried the fried rice yakimeshi. It was a huge portion and had nice plating. The downside was the lack of flavor. It was very bland only after dousing it with soy sauce and jalapeños was the plate somewhat palatable. We also ordered the chicken Alfredo, don’t judge kids will be kids. Again a very healthy portion but Alfredo sauce lacked flavor. We also ordered the egg rolls and the same lack of flavor though they seemed more of the frozen kind rather than fresh. The stars of the meal was the finca roll. It had a seared/smoked salmon that was not overpowering but it defined the roll. Second place was the Monterrey roll. This was also packing flavor with the roll wrapped in thinly sliced chicken. All in all like i said hit or miss for this place. Very good service and large portions but some food was lacking in taste.”

“Order has been incorrect the last 3x I have ordered from this location. Pizza was sloshed to one side, pasta had ingredients that were requested not to be in dish (onion) and wings were just tossed in the box and toppings pulled in the center. 0 stars do not recommend. Called in and asked for replacement and was told it’d be 2-3 hrs. Delivery driver sat the food in the floor of the motel, knocked on door and left.”
