“I go to Alwan's a couple of times a month, usually just to get beef fat trimmings, spending under $10. But you would think I was spending thousands with the excellent customer service that I receive. I have to go to the meat counter and ask specifically for this product and they're always so kind and accommodating. One gentleman in particular (he uses an assistive speech device) is just an absolutely charming fellow. Actually everyone that's helped me has been great! Last time I was there I was helped by a young lady who went out of her way to make sure I got the right product, just to my liking. The cashiers are so sweet and polite. I had the most lovely conversation with a woman one morning (we bonded over steak and lipstick.) She made me feel like family. This is a wonderful place; we are so lucky that Peoria has this amazing resource.”

“What a hidden gem. The service was great! Most of my party ordered the chicken strips or burgers with fries all of it was very tasty. The onion shoestrings and sauce is a must have. This place has a lot of parking and would make a great place to host many people”

“Dined in last night, 12/22/2023 with a party of 3, was greeted by a delightful hostess that was charming along with a superb server who catered to our every need which included coming 6 times to give me delicious Peoria water. I commend the chef with the best veal parmigiana I have had in Illinois! Tender lightly breaded veal smothered with a delicious marinara accompanied with a delicious a la carte sauteed fresh zucchini. The ambiance is delightful not like other restaurants in the area where you feel like your crammed in like sardines and can't have a nice conversation like Rizzi's on Sheridan in Peoria. Make sure and call after 12 noon to make your reservations at Paparazzi's for a most delightful and delicious dinner. I can't wait to return and try out their Eggplant parmesan.”

“Near the Tuesday Morning on Glen. Great sandwiches always fresh always the same. Great $5 meals. Fast service: there usually isn't a long wait no matter the time I've been in to grab a quick bite. We grab lunch here often and take the dozen mixed cookies for another $5 for sharing later.”
